This was the last day of a three-day trip, chasing a small fireball in Arizona, in April 2024.
Three days was too little time to reasonably expect to find anything, but we had good data, needed to check it out.
Thanks again to Peter Jenniskens, Denis Vida, and Hadrien Devillepoix for their work on this event.
I think there's a good chance that someone will find stones from this event, given enough time in the field. I just don't have weeks to dedicate to this one.
If you try to chase this fall, be safe, let your friends and family know where you're going, and make sure they know when you plan to return or check in. And make sure to take more than enough water.
