Your ensemble is an unknown gem to this longtime American band director. Having conducted this work and listened to many performances on TH-cam, this rendition ranks up there with the best ones out there. Serious props to the conductor for staying completely out of the way and letting the ensemble do its thing. The final minute is quite exhilarating while remaining in the precise tempo markings by Reisteter. Bravo to all!

It is always a nice suprise to hear our music played (and sang) by someone else. :) Just to put it correct - at the time of the album Out of Home, of which is the original song part of, Alan Vitouš was a very presious guest of Clarinet Factory. Clarinet Factory is not the band of Alan Vitouš. ;) The music was created by Clarinet Factory and Alan Vitouš.

Thankyou Naden Band. Always a pleasure to hear you! I cannot tell you how many times I have been on parade with the Naden Band motivating us. Back to 1973 for me actually. Now I hope to hear you at Christmas concerts as I am not on parade anymore... Ready Aye Ready.

This remains one of my favourite holiday pieces; always took the pause a bit more dramatically for the audience to reflect and process for a split second their experience of the piece up to that point; loved hearing your interpretation! 👏
