These mufflers are Black Widow Venom 250.

It's 100% factory correct as far as the body goes. Complete factory trim for a Mustang GT back in 88...no body kit has been installed. Thanks for watching.

Yes, by tail pipes I mean they aren't dumped. www.summitracing.com/parts/flo-15805/year/1988/make/ford/model/mustang The link I posted is the exact kit I bought and installed. I run 17x10 with 275s out back with a MM pan hard bar and still have 1½" of clearance to play with between the tire and exhaust pipe. You can always adjust the exhaust for more clearance or run a 5/16" wheel spacer with ARP studs for additional space. The tail pipes will definitely give it a different tone with your super 10s.

@@VGPrejeanIII Oh cool! Thank you man! That's definitely something I'm going to look at in the future. The mustang I bought came with 302 that came from a foxbody 5.0. It was originally fuel injected, and was converted to carb. Are there different types of 302's? I noticed that some 302 valve cover looks different. Sorry for the dumb question man. I'm new with the mustang scene.

@@badexample5249 Can't go wrong with a carb setup! You don't have to worry about tuning a computer. Cams and power adders can be installed without having to worry about drivability usually. The most common 302 is a windsor 302 which is what you have now. I think there might be a 302 Cleveland engine but I'm not too sure about that one. I know Ford also produced 351 windsor and 351 cleveland engines for sure though. Carburetorated 302s usually have taller valve covers than EFI 302s. EFI valve covers are shorter because the intake plenum takes up so much head space above the valve cover and would hit the taller valve covers when installed.

Thank you! They do drone more with the tail pipes vs dumped before the axle. Flowmaster 40 series definitely drone more but not by much in my opinion.

No, I believe the "Widow Maker AKA Neighbor hater" are the loudest of the Black Widow muffler series. I'm pretty sure they don't have any kind of flow restriction which usually means they're very loud lol. Thanks for watching!

Yes, it's a HR cam but I used Driven BR30 break-in oil @ 2k rpm for 15mins to help piston ring seating mainly. Good piston ring seating = little to no oil blow by. Thanks for watching!
