I was working on exploring all of the Cascades recently, finding collectibles, locations etc. . I decided to head to Grotto Caves. For some reason the ambient part of this track was playing even at the carpark, and there was a moment of disbelief, then silent dread, as I realised the NERO research site was in the caves and not outside... I've not played a game that had me on edge the way I was creeping through the cave tunnel in the dark in a long time. I eventually found the beacon and the injector and just as the recorder's message finished playing I then heard the distant growling of a horde within the caves somewhere and I wish I had recorded myself because I felt my expression drop like lead as I saw the shambling mass of freaks making their way outside. This game is incredible.

A quick death for a good game it's sad it's not the best game I've played but definitely loads of fun and pretty easy to get into

I'm new to the game. Today I went to the sawmill just to see the horde. I was standing near the water tank no freaker nearby but this musical started playing. I was confused and shaking why it was playing. Then suddenly the horde came outta nowhere I jumped gem my chair and ran for life. Such terror. Amazing soundtrack.

If you survived long enough to start hearing the final variation music, the game will now start controlling you. Damn, even today I get goosebumps when I listen to it. It makes me sad to see how they ruined this game.

My first Horde was late at night, along the lake by the Hot Springs Camp. I crashed my bike on a car and to my right I’m hearing noises. I look over and there they are, feasting, and I just interrupted my meal. They all got up simultaneously, stared at Deek for a moment, and sprinted like hell.

I was just at a Nero place trying to get in then an infected tried to kill me so i shot it in the head BUT my silencer broke and this theme randomly started playing while i was throwing grenades💀i managed to survive though but without grenades i,ll been fucked

"The world on her shoulders" this summerises the story actually and wonder I wouldnt have wanted to be in her place

The whole Militia arc in Days Gone was so unexpected but so awesome at the same time

Literally gave me a new meaning to the term "horde" after I played this... still can't get over how well they designed the mechanics for them. Not to mention when you set them on fire with napalm and they still! Keep coming! Even with a little mountain piling up by a door they're trying to squeeze through all at once some of them peel off and look for a new route which is terrifying... makes me want to work on my cardio in case such an apocalypse were to happen...
