You know, for a man, it can be very difficult to open up. To show emotion. We are taught to keep our emotions in check, because we have to be strong. If not for ourselves, then for the people we love. And for the most part it works, it lets us tackle the worst life can throw at us, but that pressure can build in us. We desire an outlet. Being with a woman we love, a woman we can open up to is a godsend. We can show our girl who we are, we want to be. We can let our emotions out. We can feel vulnerable, but it doesn't have to feel like a bad thing. Even if it's as simple as a cuddle, we occasionally enjoy being wrapped up in *her* arms. In that moment, we can be vulnerable. We can let our emotions out and at the same time show how much we care about our girl. I guess this song embodies that feeling for me.
