I've never thought of Murnau's Nosferatu as scary at all. I find the film quite comical. Also it's been ruined because Ellen Generes looks just like Orlok.

There is no way the unnecessary remake is even going to touch this version. The ultimate fever dream put to film. Some of the images from this have stuck with me for decades. Absolutely terrifying.

Legitimately one of the BEST vampire designs committed to film. Everything about Nosferatu was perfectly unsettling. In 1922 when people were less desensitized to horror films, you know this definitely caused some nightmares.
