OMG thank you for posting this. I sailed the the Stefan Batory from Montreal to Tilbury in 1984 with my mom and my sister. I've been looking for some films and history on the web about the ship since then. And I'm now 55. I remember the ice carvings for the Captain's dinner and starters for dinner was always consommé! Seeing the promenade deck makes me cry. I spent most of my time there taking in the view and the wonders of the ocean with some binoculars that I bought from the pursers office. Brilliant memories. Thank you.

I also built the Corvette about 2 years ago, a great model. I am now making a new version a 150% scale & 2.5m long. I had to redesign a lot of it to include a heap more detail. Once done I'll do a review vid.

What is the name of these one-design sailboats? Nice wind for model sailing. Audio was low so couldn't hear the start well. Wanted to see the strategy.

my Nans brother was on HMS DIDO his name was John Jothson 18 years old died in B Turet when it was hit on the ev of crete ...got bless she then whent to the usa for damage repairs and i beleive c turrret installation ☝
