Joyful Noyz Chop Shop
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 23 ต.ค. 2007
Joyful Noyz Chop Shop is not your average chop shop. I love cars, I love to cut them apart and put crazy stuff back together. Kinda like when I was a kid with my hot wheels. Come join me on my journey.
1946 Chevy Truck Rat Rod Project Name
We finally got a name for our Rat Rod Project build. I think it is fitting.

That's a great name. It's memorable and has character
@@Jonathan906 thanks! I thought it was fitting...
Looking good !
@@petejuhlke thanks!!! It's a work in progress. 😁
Didn't get the notification and my like didn't add any, you still have 0 according to utube,,, wtf
@@geoffreymills9932 I don't understand this youtube sometimes.... drives me nuts. 😡
Dude that looks just like my first vehicle
Would be cool to see a pic of it. If you have one you can email it to me at hubblejj@gmail.com
@jnchopshop I'll try and find one .I had to sell it super cheap when I moved .my grandpa gave it to me when I was 14 or 16 maybe
@@holymongoosesbj2035 That sucks, especially if it was from your grandpa. I had a 51 given to me from my grandpa I let go to the scrap yard. I regret it every day...
That's some snappy editing 🎉
@@Jonathan906 you got to love tiktok.... go china...lol
How about an update after you finish the wiring, I'm interested in how the terminal's went together for the connection at the light's, distributor, alternator and starter, and if the kit comes with the right terminals
@geoffreymills9932 I will update at that point. All the wire have no connector on them. The light connectors were in a separate bag. So everything will need to be crimped together.
Looks good! Such a simple gas pedal design. I am guessing they are more complicated these days. Back in the day one could look under the hood and kind of work out what was going on. Today everything is such a mishmash of electronic and solid-state parts.
@@Jonathan906 so true, i love old school.
Shoes are on wrong, there is a difference bete=ween lead and rear shoes, shorter pad shoe goes on the front.
@@richrdwilliams4741 lead and rear shoes????? They're made out of lead????
@@jnchopshop leading shoe is forward shoe, and anchor shoe is reap brake shoe
@richrdwilliams4741 ok i see what your saying now... thanks I will get it switched around. I checked the other side and I got that one right...50/50 chance I guess... thanks again!!!👍
@@jnchopshop Your welcome
Your welcome for pointing you in the direction of the copper lol
@@JordanHubble for sure, that stuff is amazing!!!!
Never seen the whole pedal arm on top of the floor but ok, and I hate you had the master cylinder off and still didn't turn the bolts around in the transmission mount 😑
@@geoffreymills9932 i was going to turn them around, but I think i will just leave them for now. If I need to pull the tranny out it is just 2 bolts to move it over.
I used some cheapo Jeep CJ7 bushings for my 1946 truck cab mounts … costs almost nothing … you might want to throw some in there
@MarekMakes hockey pucks work good also.
Good morning 🌞🌞🌞!
I agree it's over built. Please reconsider not installing some padding in the cab mounts.
@@CorvairSteveMorton naaay.... 😁
Come on guys, 35 views and only 6 likes,, does your tender little finger hurt too much to touch a like for the man,, maybe building things ain't for you, you can get hurt so easy
@geoffreymills9932 thanks brother!!!!
Way overbuilt, I love it, nicely done
@geoffreymills9932 🤣🤣🤣 yeah I am sure it could use it as a tank if I needed too, but it is mostly scraps that I have laying around. Thank you good sir! 😁👍
LOOKING GOOD BROTHER ! 😁✊
@@GMCTIM thanks! Appreciate that!!!!
I'm working on whats left of a 46 chevy truck as we speak. I wish my cab was 1/2 as solid as yours... Appreciate the videos
@teabag402 Wow, you're cab must have been rough... just make it more fun...lol. thanks for watching.
I was hoping you didn’t chop it 😎
@samdunbar7259 well at least someone agrees with me...😆 thanks!
I love it so far, great project. Keep plugging away.!
@@samdunbar7259 thanks! I will keep it going for sure. Hope to have it done by June.
Howdy sir! I saw you subscribed to me and thought I'd pop over and see what you had going on. Truck is looking mean! Keep it up!
@GarrettFab1 thanks! Yes I seen your start, hope to see good things from your channel.
Don't know why it's not adding the likes, I like it and it's still showing 0, 😏
I also like the welds. An improvement from the last video.
LOL... For sure, I'm getting better at it. Thanks!!!
😂 THE CHOP IS FOR SHORTER GUYS THERE NOT MUCH ROOM IN THESE TRUCKS NO HOW UNLESS YOU STREACH THE CAB AT 6'2 ! I HAD A 41 CHEVY P.UP, 32 FORD P.UP, 34 FORD P.UP THERE TIGHT ! 😂✌
LOL... For sure, that is what I am worried about.
I did a 46 Chevy pickup 3” chop Overview on my channel - take a look at the video How I Built the 1946 Chevy Pickup Rat Rod th-cam.com/video/Fvo-dYMDaI0/w-d-xo.html
@@MarekMakes seen your video before. You're one of the channels I was using for my research. My decision not to chop isn't completely out, but just not for now. Great looking build!!!
Well good luck! I think 3” was perfect… not so much it drastically changes the look but definitely makes it look better, those cabs were such a bubble. Now doing 5” in the front and 4” in the back with a little mail slot window would be super aggressive and too much I think. 3 was the Goldilocks zone for me.
Nice progress, weekly longer videos are great
@CorvairSteveMorton yeah I might start doing that...see how it goes. Thanks!
I chopped 4" on my 46 Ford but I'm not sure about chopping my 39 chevy, I'm 6 foot and fit fine and it looks great but I'm just liking the stock look of the chevy so I know how you feel, it's a great truck either way
@geoffreymills9932 I can always do it later I guess...🤷
I'm building a 39 so I'll be watching everything you do with this one no matter how long or short it is, nice looking subframe you got there😊
@geoffreymills9932 thanks for watching! Have fun on your build. Post some videos!
looking good!
@bigbosshoss8148 thanks! It is coming along pretty good.
I think it's perfect where it's at but that's just me, personally I would have cut the spread out of the frame and tapered it in like the original instead of cutting up the cowl but again,, that's just me, to each his own right, either way it's definitely going to be a cool ride 😊😊
@geoffreymills9932 yeah I thought about that, but went this way... I guess there is no real right or wrong way...lo...l thanks!!!!
you might have what you call a little shop ,but you have a nice setup
@@fullstrutn thanks! It works for what I need. 😁
Should be a nice ride but you'll be moving the mounting points once the weight is on and settled
Thanks, yeah I figured I will need to adjust it a little once all the weight is on it.
Welds look great, pinion angel matches the trans and it doesn't look like it changed with the suspension travel, and no it's not supposed to, looks like a great job with everything doing what it's supposed to, 100 points on this one 😊😊
@geoffreymills9932 thanks, always good to learn I am going in the right direction.
Great project, Btw, the welds look cold otherwise you're doing a great job
@CorvairSteveMorton thanks, that is what my kid tells me. I am getting better. Turning the welder up too....👍
Just found your channel and I'm building a 39 so I'll be watching the progress on this one
@geoffreymills9932 awesome! Would love to see pictures of your build!
Looks good! You know, some of us have to buy our cars pre-assembled 😂
@@Jonathan906 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's not as much fun as building the monster of your dreams
I thought with a 4 link the pinion angle doesn't change when cycling through suspension travel.
@heyjunior I am far from an expert, but what I have read and been told the angle will change when you accelerate. But I could be wrong 🤷
What a stupid idea, there goes to value of the Mustang, and you can get a 780hp Shelby Coyote from your Ford Dealership with full warranty.
Si señor
Hell yeah
I'm still waiting for the reason its worth fixing
@HughJanis420 when you come out of your mom's basement I'll show you...

What a stupid reasoning. You just want attention.
The Milky Rat Rod All the way from Wexford Ireland Well done keep up the good work
@martinmurphy3868 another good suggestion. Thank you!
So true
I think Milky-Way is a good name. It was a milk truck and you build it your way
@@jamesferrell9404 nice! I like that!!!
I like the bolts. I would feel better too. Are you just extending a frame? Or are those extensions to replace a rusted out portion of the frame that you had previously cut out?
Little bit of both. I cut out the crap frame and replacing it with this, also it will be a little longer.
Looking forward to seeing the fun.
Thanks, it will be fun for sure
