Looks to be a time delay issue with the power button, notice the first couple of times works OK with fast tap and the last couple the tap is slightly delayed in releasing the button when waking it up.

While the Android operating system seemed like a good idea, Horizon Hobby currently does not have the capability to pull it off. I've had an ix12 waiting several years for them to fix their software. Only now can I use it and that is sparingly. You can either return it to Horizon Hobby or wait it out and just don't use deep sleep mode. You have a 10000 mah battery on that thing. On my IX12 I tried returning it only to have them send it strait back to me still having the same issue. HH is terrible and unfortunately had a monopoly after it bought out Tower hobbies.

How on earth did this product get approval for launch by Horizon Hobby with such a big issue affecting its correct functioning?

This is very poor mine has done it so I'm just not going to use sleep mode, it doesnt take that long to boot and I'll use the time to check the plane, put the battery in etc so no big deal. In reality this really should have come out in testing, disappointing to say the least.

I have lost count on how many times I have had this issue. The issue happened before and after deleting and reinstalling airware. The reinstall did not help me at all.

thank you very much dadge75, as indicated in my post i uninstalled and reinstalled airware several times but it does not change anything, the problem is the same.

Hi Oliver, I’ve done some reading on this and deleting the airware app and reinstalling it has been recommended, if you need to no how to delete it leave me a comment here and I’ll come back and check if you need some help 👍
