Disappointed Toyota Customer: For ten years, I've been a loyal Toyota customer, always choosing them when it came time to trade in my car. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Ravindu Toyota has been a huge letdown. The car I purchased, presented as a Toyota, seems more like a Maruti in disguise. The quality is far below Toyota's usual standards. The AC emits a strong acidic odor, making the car unusable (a common complaint among other buyers), and the stereo malfunctions frequently. Despite repeated attempts to get Ravindu Toyota to rectify these issues, my efforts have been in vain. When I requested an exchange, they offered a price 7 lakhs below the showroom value, citing the car's "slow-moving" status. Other manufacturers echoed this sentiment, attributing the low quote to Toyota's own classification. This is a stark contrast to the Toyota I used to know, a company that prioritized customer satisfaction. Now, there's a complete lack of communication or effort to find a solution. I've even escalated the issue to the sales president level, but everyone seems to be hiding behind the claim of a Maruti collaboration, absolving them of any responsibility. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against purchasing this car. Look elsewhere for a vehicle that upholds the quality and customer service you deserve.
