Fired Heater NOx Emissions Prediction Model Utilizing Multiple Linear Regression

NOx emissions contribute to the global carbon footprint that lead to undesirable environmental and health impacts. Due to the expected growth of 4-6% in the use of industrial fired heaters in Saudi Arabia, the objective of this study is to develop a prediction model to determine the concentration of NOx in the flue gases at the stack outlet of ethylene pyrolysis furnace in Jubail. The model is aimed to be used as an alternative to online NOx compositions analyzers. Multiple linear regression was used with excess oxygen in the firebox, fuel gas flow, and draft pressure as the explanatory variables with 807 explicit data per variable. Two useful models have been obtained with excess oxygen and fuel gas being the variables of higher importance. Draft pressure statistically does not have an effect on the response variable in the study. Both obtained models resulted in adjusted coefficient of 0.90 showing an acceptable influence on the dependent variable and a practical predictive ability. The model have been tested and satisfied the four assumptions of MLR: Linearity, normal distribution of residuals, freedom of multi-collinearity, and homoscedasticity. A linear programming application of the obtained model has been utilized to optimized NOx emissions and shown reduction capability between 11% to 20% of initial NOx levels.

Anything. Is a wrong work.... Pay attention 😡 The methods for spanning tree and for shorted route are false and do not sure give optimal solutions. For Minimal spanning tree algorithms there are two algorithms: Prim’s Algorithm and Kruskal's Algorithm For Shortest-path Problem there are at least four methods: Branch and Bound using Tree Diagram, Dijkstra’s algorithm, Floyd’s algorithms, and Dynamic programming.

I don't think it's optimal solution in the last part with the shortest path. Because the path you chose spends total over 7000 resources (miles), instead you could chose Seattle-Minneapolis-Chicago-Boston route, so you would have spent less than 4000!
