Hey are those motors HPDI 200? I have two of them on my boat and they are fantastic. I have been maintaining them for over two years and I have learned a lot about them. I have even changed one of the heads, which they are known to get pinholes in them and let water in and cause the cylinders to seize. That’s probably what happened to one of your motors. If you have any questions about those motors, let me know. The only downside is that they are very picky with the fuel. It has to be ethanol free and run Yamaha ring free mixed with the gas and you have to change all of the filters to keep them running smoothly. They have a round fuel filter that’s metal that cost about $100. I would definitely change that one as soon as possible. And for the water flow, make sure you change the poppet valve. It is in the back towards the bottom of the block the best way to get to it is to also take the computer off and it gives you easy access. Make sure when you start the motors. They are peeing very strong. If not, they will start overheating on you. Why are you changing out the Evinrudes, they are pretty good motors as well?

Thanks for the study. Now when mine fails, I know how to fix it. Rhodan should have used a water tight gasket for the head. I have heard of water intrusion issues.
