I work at a small pet shop in Lowestoft and was recommended you from customers Chris and Lucy (im sure you know who I mean). Im so relieved to see another shop that promotes top welfare including UVB for leopard geckos etc. Other shops just seem to advocate red lights and 2 foot glass tanks! Im wondering if for you its as tiring as it is for us. Welfare is so so behind research and its so depressing to hear on a daily basis what customers keep their reptiles in, mostly from other shops recommendations. Anyway, random morning vent over lol, I recommended you to customers if its something we dont do or if they are nearer to you than us, as I know theyre going to get good advice. Just curious with the hatchlings do you still provide uvb?
Heeeeyy! Yup, I know exactly what you mean. Most people are happy to learn though :) Yup! UVB as soon as they leave the egg :)
@ScapedNature you must be lucky, here they just say theyre alive they must be fine 😭. You can probably appreciate this as an example but the other day I had an owner with a Cherry lane special, they had just got a ZM leo starter kit (god awful!) And couldnt accept that those kits are not suitable and couldnt afford to buy anything else supposedly. Well next day they had got the snake one and put a poor corn in it, like please sort out the leopard gecko first 😭. Its because of that stuff most days that the job is actually too depressing for me to stay any longer because of it (9 years of it) and I'll be leaving soon. I will have to check you out when im next in Norwich. Like I said its just so refreshing to have a "proper" reptile shop around elsewhere!

I LOVE how organic and non performative this content was. I seriously can’t watch reptile TH-cam because it’s so content driven and scripted, just vapid really. But yours feels like hanging out, and it’s so authentic and calming to watch and very entertaining. Don’t change! 🙌🏻
