Does anyone know what song plays in the first scene with Cardomon’s mom when he brings her candy? It’s at the end of episode 2 on Netflix. I’ve been trying to find it everywhere and can’t

this scene hits different in s2, the fact she was fine the whole time is just :/ unsatisfying, warranted all of Cardamon's suffering. I get he wasn't supposed to be awake without her but :/ it didn't sit right with me, like if she just told him before they went to bed he could've woken her up by taking the thing out of her neck.

Cardamon is by far my favorite character in the show. Imagine you're like 7 and something happens to put your only parental figure in a coma. She was in charge of collecting rent from a few people as a source of income. That is now your responsibility. You have to manage to get to school on your own and feed yourself relatively healthy meals. You have to figure out how to manage your money accordingly until she wakes up. At *7* years old. Wtf why is my heart hurting for this fictional 7 year old 😭

This feeling is akin to discovering an object of your childhood, and remembering the fond memories. Seeing the object all worn out, but still existing in your hands, as if to say "those years may be gone, but I'm still here to comfort you" and when you suddenly hug that object, these old emotions begin to seep in, and you can't contain your tears. Even though this is the same world that raised you, nothing about it feels the same. But this precious object remains unchanged, a tangible proof that your childhood world was not a dream, that the memories and experiences were real.. that life really was a wonderful place, once upon a time.. the world continues to change, but it feels like you can still cling to a fragment of the old world, the one that once cared for you and me..

That is Violet, she is Cardamon's Mother. They were both asleep yet somehow he got awake. He has only aged 3-4 yrs since the pic on the wall in his room was taken, even though the ship has been there about 15 yrs for Bee to have grown to 22 yrs old....Oh yeah, Bee has a belly button = cyborg. They may not have the same mother, but Violet tells clone Bee that they have to find her father then tells Cardamon the same thing. Gotta watch season 2......

I think this was the moment I completely fell in love with this show. It still catches me off guard every time. I remember watching it on my phone late at night and once the jellyfish song came to an end, I had to pause the video to just...process the emotions I felt. It's such an amazingly well executed scene.

Rebecca sugar’s shows have this theme of mother’s being almost antagonizingly close, but out of the main character’s reach. Finn meets his mom, but the first time he meets her she’s a robot. All that’s left of steven’s mom is left in the gem in his belly. And cardamon’s mom, although physically present, is in a coma.

the fact that cardamon starts crying when his mom doesn't wake up after feeding her the wish donut hurts so much.
