We certainly know a ton about his personal life - the months of touring, his political beliefs, where he lives, his bees and Elwood, what he reads, his summer jobs; he's even shared his mom and dad with his fans. He's invited us inside his house to read to us. Christ, we even know who his next door neighbor is. People complain because they think they are entitled to more. Really? And all he won't take about is his love life. Good for him. Not our business. I think he gives his fans as much as he possibly can.

I admire how Andrew handles every situation thrown at him in these interviews with so much grace, calmness, truth, and even humor. And he does it in his ever gentle self, and politeness, and humility. But it certainly takes a toil on him. Trust him to come up with the imagery of the coral reef after the tourists left to describe how he felt. He just breathes poetry. This young man is a real gem. Definitely need protection. Although having said that, he has not done too badly fending for himself. All the more impressive since he can't be prepared for the onslaught with his sudden fame with Take Me To Church. I love and admire Andrew as a musician and as a human being. He is truly a gift to the world.

I won a ticket to a few songs played by him. He didn’t want to be there. Didn’t speak to the crowd. Didn’t wave. Did the concert and simply walked off the stage. People cheered for him to come back and do another song but he had gone. It was like magic. Angriest performance I have ever seen. It was like a hostage situation. He was obviously pre-paid
