About the Talk: Natural history, "a practice of focused attentiveness to the more-than-human world, guided by honesty and accuracy”-is humanity's oldest endeavor, essential for survival and still critical today. This talk will explore natural history's role in building a brighter future by grounding natural sciences, shaping policy, and inspiring conservation and sustainability values. This “practice of falling in love with the world” also supports the physical and emotional health of individuals and communities.

I have always agreed that we overspend on the military but the alarmism over the climate is beyond the pale. The planet is still going to be here. Climate changes. Do a bit of everything.
