Sorry if this has already been answered but what voltage fuse should be used? I see 1.5A mentioned but when looking at them online i see 125 volt 1.5A 250volt 1.5 A and so on. I figure 125 volt but better to be sure than guess

Can repair SNES without problem...can't focus camera?

I have a repair question. I hooked up the SNES to my tv and the power comes on and everything is hooked up but I get nothing showing up on the television screen.. Might you have any ideas on how to fix it. Everything is hooked up right and the tv is on channel 3 but i get no game showing up.

I'm wondering if the same applies to the Super Famicom. I recently purchased a SFC in Tokyo and it worked perfectly on Japanese a outlet. I then traveled to Hong Kong and stupidly plugged the SFC into a voltage adapter which I believe fried it... (I know dumb idea). Once I arrived back in the US I plugged SFC into a voltage step down and the console will still not turn on. I'm hoping replacing the fuse will bring her back to life. Any thoughts are welcome. Thank you for the great post.

I have a SNES that turns on, but usually I can't get passed the title screen and it freezes up on me or the game won't even load up at all. I've tried dozens of games and the only game the worked was tetris. Does anyone know what could be wrong with my Snes!

Yes, this is an easy fix. Just watch some movies here on youtube about soldering. I guess my little sister could do this :)

My old SNES had this problem. I didn't know what the problem was back then so I bought myself another one. Thanks to youtube I fixed the old one some years ago, and I now have two working SNES. I'm in heaven :p

Hi, I used one of those tools that tests if electricity is coming through the wire. I tried it on the adaptor it beeped. When I plug the adaptor into the Super nintendo and hold up the tool to the super nintendo it beeps. When I turn it on, no light comes on. Is it the fuse?

Im ahampster2, just a different account lol. Anyways Just look up a video on how to open up the NES, then find where you would plugin the NES from the outside and trace it to the inside; the fuse should be located just after where the plugin enters into the chip.

How can I find some of these fuses? Where did you get yours? I am searching eBay but when I search 1.5A Pico Fuse none of the fuses look like yours. And I do not want to get the wrong one. Plus they also talk about volts not just amps so what amount of volts am I looking for?

did you know how it looks the pico fuse of a SNES mini system? because i have one and it doesn't work..maybe is the same problem than your SNES

@Ahampster2 Can you help me, so i had my Super Nintendo in a box for what...5-6 years and found it last year, i bought all the cords and bought a new AV cord (with colors red,yellow,white) and have the old adapter. It turns on perfectly and shows red light, but it doesn't show on the T.V i tried switching channels, nothing. Any Ideas! You could understand the childhood nostalgia in this game, i had it since i was born and will die playing it Lol! No really help though! or i will buy a newone RIP

@MrHossCartwright the only way to find out is to use whats called a multimeter and have it on continuity check if it beeps then its fine if not then its bad

@itzIsolation fucking thank you at least you know what the fuck your supposed to do. I run shit tons of Dark World monsters and only 1 normal Dark World and 1 NON- Dark World monster and thats battle fader.

no off. it fucking sux my dark world deck runs better cause to be a dark world deck it needs more than Goldd Sillva and broww. Ull want a Grapha and kahkki and snoww and brron, gren, scarr, beiige, renge, ceruli, and battle fader. And mine's not even done. If u want to call it Dark World then fucking use them what u run is fiends. Dark Worlds have oh u know more Dark Worlds than any other monster and yes u still want 3 Goldd and 3 Sillva and 3 Grapha.
