Nothing to do here, please dont come to Powell River, tourists are annoying
*I was on Oahu back in October. It was the first I've been there since I lived there as a kid. I visited all four coastlines and many beaches. I went to Kailua but didn't have time for Lanikai and the trouble finding parking. I would have liked to have stayed longer than the 10 days but had a good time searching for things I would remember. Things have changed a lot. I got the drone in the air for plenty of footage for two videos. 👍*
Oahu has changed a lot, we were lucky to find parking on the street , Lanikai , Waimanalo, Kailua are my favourites beaches, nice talking to you again, how did you find the Waikiki beach after so many years?
@@amazedbytravels Waikiki is busy as well as the streets. It was not relaxing. I felt more at home at Ala Moana Beach Park and the East coast beaches. As a kid I lived near the north shore but it was too rough while I was there. I did find Kamehameha Highway Bridge. Its an old bridge I remember walking across, as a kid, on my way to Haleʻiwa Beach.
I have been in Oahu first time in 2000, today it is a lot different
