It is a very beautiful performance, but it takes 'only' 18,5 minutes, in the score I read it should last ca 35 minutes, twice as long. What made the performers decide to halve the tempi? Indeed the prescribed tempi seem extremely slow, but they bring you into another perception of time, at least it seems the intention of the composer. But I could justify a faster tempo as well.

An excellent redndition, the registration chosen is well suited to the organ and venue acoustics - all the voices are fine and clear

BRAVO, this is a beautiful interpretation and the sound of the organs are so great. I have some CDs of this great organ and I like it very much.

Beautiful performance!

I wish that this recording could be re-mastered with high quality sound. Before the Goulding and Wood rebuild in 2001, this organ had a truly badass sound, especially in the Pedal, although the upperwork was a bit much.

Hi Marvin - Where is this? Is this Passau? Yesterday (2019-04-15) Notre Dame burned its roof off and my heart seeks solace in Louis Vierne. What a wonderful recording. The organ at the start of the Santus is shaking my whole house. The cats are wide awake! Its good to be a Tenor 1 for this piece especially the Agnus Dei. Greetings from Atlanta GA on the day after. :'( and Prayers for "our Lady"
