Wtf is "k"
seminar
I've just watched this polish guy who has this huge hemp plantation for textiles and oils and he shared the fact that hemp gives more into the soil than it takes because all the leaves fall off by the time he's harvesting the stalks, and the roots stay too. So the field is actually gaining 1mm of soil a year.
It takes many years to get fertile soil that deep. Id give anything i have for 22 inches of soil where i am lol i hate clay
As a general rule… NEVER take any health advice from ANYONE you don’t want to be built like. 💯
Awesome 💯
Which i understood what he was talking about.
Corn is crap
Maybe quit spraying toxic waste aka roundup on all of the crops?
I learnt something new. Thank you! Farmers, engineers, doctors and scientists. Unsung hero’s of humanity that don’t get the recognition they deserve. Oh and most importantly, thank you Bees! 🐝
Forgive my ignorance on the subject but I'm interested in know more about what a build program is.
Glad to see that farmers finally know that soil health is priority nr 1.. When this knowledge features modern science, the fields of the future are going to be garden eden like.
Rotational dense grazing. That is the only thing that IMPROVES soil.
Wildman?
Roots are good. But a happy symbiotic fungus could gather, distribute and trade it aswell. Funghi, our best friends and enemies, depending.
Hemp might pull it up sunflowers idk deep rooting plants ..
Mono cultives kills the soil.
This will help in case I plan to start farming
I wish I had that much K 😎
That gut says try some non gmo shit ...
Rotate with comfrey to pull nutrient from deep in the soil.
Reye grass has proven a goal keeper in Indiana farming for bovine. Its routs brake up the hard line stone and help for a top layer that locks in carbon.
It looks like you can tell where they have destroyed the soil from year of tilling and usage.
Now I know why farmers cut it leave it there almost all winter and then till it under in the spring.
Alfalfa ?
Silage
I prefer buy and hold too.
An actual trained agronomist would never say dirt.
Thanks for watching
Gene splice the corn with the roots of kudzu and watch your corn crop explode.
Save stocks less work on soil. This guy is a farming genius
❤

The beauty of the internet is knowledge can be found in almost every corner
So true
Its what plants crave!
Absolutely
Ok, so tell us how you really feel? This vid made no sense
Sorry you feel that way
So? I don't have stocks, should I buy some? 📈
Stalk*
At my operation we use fart fertilizer, or "fartilizer," if you will. It's not easy to set up though. It involves a lot of digging, tubes with fan motors, and of course, you're limited to your stock of farts. If you have a large family, all the better. The trick is to grow lots of beans to trigger the most farts.
🤣🤣
I really hate not being able to comprehend this.
Same
Sorry to hear that
Sorry you feel that way
Is he talking about crops or is he talking about life ❤
Crops
Damn, I envy that soil. Deep, reddisg, no stones... Compared to my alkaline, 40cm deep, super stone and clayish soil, that is a dream!
It’s all about doing the best you can with what you have
Yeah but got synthetic 🌽 😮😅
Lots of options
Beautiful

Basically everything we've learned about farming came in the last 30 years. It was magic before
Not completely true but we have learned a lot
I have never stepped foot on a farm, can someone explain why he is so adamant on not bailing stocks
Bad for the soil
ok
Thanks for watching
Maybe we should stop growing so much corn and beans. The highly processed food they produce is so unhealthy. Feed corn and ethanol are fine. But soybean oil? And Corn syrup? We should be eating real food.

The soil is so bad in Nebraska that my husband and moved to NY to start our orchard instead. We couldn't even have a backyard garden in NE and drought there is a whole other issue but I'm pleasantly surprised by how nutrient dense our land in NY is. ❤
Definitely have to do the best you can where you are
Have you considered using an endomycorrhizal supplement for scalable research?
We know people who are using it
@abetterwaytofarm My family had to sell their 3000 acre ranch during the dust bowl years. I'm just a hobby farmer but I am obsessed with endomycorrhizal supplements. No single product helps my plants correct their pH imbalances and ward off infections like that product.
Farmers are everything. So knowledgeable.
Thank you for the kind words
If you passed this guy at Walmart you wouldn't even know how badass he is, you'd just stroll on by.
Ha! Thank you.
@abetterwaytofarm if that's you, you're welcome. As an Aggie, I don't think the world knows the importance of the information you hold. 👍🏼
