My Hindu great grandparents and my grandmother came from India to Jamaica during the time when they were leaving to do 5yrs of indentured work. But they werent able to go back. I look very Indian even though I am also mixed with black and white. My mind is on India a lot and anytime I listen to this song it sends shivers through my whole body and my longing grew very strong to get there. Can anyone pls interpret this in English for me I would appreciate it very much. Can anyone tell me also why my longing for India is so great it's like I want to go back to a place I have never been.
