I have a breeze block wall at the end of my house, on the other side of which is my garage. I can feel the cold coming through the wall in winter. If I get some insulated plasterboard, do I just fix it to the breeze blocks? I watched the video but didn't really get an answer. I got that it needs to be sealed entirely with PU foam and then mastic, then (probably) skimmed....

I would chose different brand, not Sheepwool Insulation

Is it better to fix insulated plasterboards onto battens or directly to brick surface?

There SHOULD be a LARGE air space gap in-between the face of the insulation and the OUTER WALL inside the cavity-wall; this includes an air space gap in-between the face of the insulation and the cavity-wall-tie drip point which should be in the centre of the cavity. Ask N.V.Q. BRICKWORK teachers for PROOF of this ! With the cavity-wall being bridged with insulation (insulation touching the outer walls), damp will travel from the outer wall through the bridging insulation to the inner wall !

You can NOT add cavity-wall-insulation to cavity-walls that are already built. Cavity-walls must NOT be BRIDGED with "insulation" (insulation touching the outer walls inside the cavity)If cavity-wall insulation is to be used , it can ONLY be installed from the VERY START of construction of the cavity-wall and there SHOULD be a LARGE air space gap in-between the face of the insulation and the OUTER WALL inside the cavity-wall ; this includes an air space gap in-between the face of the insulation and the cavity-wall-tie drip points which are in the centre of the cavity. @QT5656 0 seconds ago If you have radiators on the same wall as the insulation is it better to bring the pipes forwards or chaste them into the insulation material (e.g. Siniat Thermal PIR Tapered Edge)? I sense it's better to have them on the outside so as not to disrupt the insulation or vapor layer.
