Amen, "ALL IS GREAT" Thank you for the msg. ❤
Thank you for the sermon, watching from USA
Thank you for a very meaningful sermon Luke. It has given me much to think about. May God continue to bless you 🙏
Good morning Luke, such a beautuful, but powerful Word you brought today, such truth in all our distractedness! May we reflect deeply and like Kelly say to our Lord, "Draw me close to YOU, never let me go" Thank you Luke. Blessings for you and Shereen as you look at towards a new week. 😊
Great God bless Luke
Thank you Luke
Praise be to God.
My life feels better with God in it❤❤
What a very practical message very encouraging-Thank you so much for this 🙏🏽💯❤️
Hi Luke thank-you, such a powerful word again today. I have so enjoyed these last 5 sermons on Abraham and Sarah. God bless you.
Dear Pastor Luke. I will have to watch this video on Abraham 's humanism. And spot on: Jesus was very God and very man! And I have learned that Jesus was not a born leader. He submitted to his Father and after his baptism from God with the Holy Spirit falling on him like a 🕊️ dove Jesus was tested! He was tempted, he was tired , hurting, hungry and thirsty....trained to be the Leader for all who have ears to hear and eyes to see. He was in battle with Satan who who desired to destroy his ministry! But Satan didn't win! Jesus won the victory that overcomes the world and the principality of the air! 🕊️
God knew I needed this reminder, that I am righteous by faith even if I still struggle. Thank you for this message.
Wow! Luke this message really spoke to me. Thank you. God bless 🙏
Once again thanks again for a wonderful sermon. We all need a bit more grace....so lets make it our goal. One thing i dont agree with you is the Law....in Mat 5:17 and 18 Jesus says the none of this will change so we still live under the law only now our saviour has come to forefill the promise. Rememver the the law did not foregive will fill sin.
And they say.....God does not speak to us today? He lives and talks to us everyday.....just listern
Thank you. Watching in North Carolina, USA
Thank you for this message, may God bless you 🙏

Thankyou for your message today. I’m 90 years old and am now so blessed to have Christian friends to serve me. Earlier today I was listening to BBC songs of praise and I heard the hymn - Come let us sing of a Wonderful love. I haven’t heard it for years and wondered if you might talk about it on your Friday night slot. Every blessing from Scotland.
Key points are very relevant to the topic.
Thank you Luke, great message so true, how we need this message,
Thank you Luke, great msg, repentance cleans the soul.
You were one of the lucky ones!! I saw God as an angry god judgment & angry as that is how my earthly father was, so I was in my forties before I found God as a loving Father & finally came to love Him & have my life turned around.
Grace will come in the wake of REPENTANCE.
Thank you Luke. Excellent msg.
Good message
We might as well take it to God, because He already knows how we feel and He is ready to help us if we will just humbly turn to Him. But often we turn away from the very One we should be turning towards. We are rebellious, foolish people I guess, always thinking that we can do it ourselves. Thanks for the reminder, Pastor Powell.
Great message. Thanks
Thx for this wonderful msg, be blessed
Luke, why don't you end your prayers by saying, "In Jesus Name"? Are we not called to say that? Bless you and your congregation.
That is the proof of your love for someone,if you pray to God for that person's welfare at the same time one must do something to meet that person 's temporal needs.Only prayer will not help,be practical, rational.
Thank you for sharing this with us. We can not hear this too often.
Luke could we please hear the song you wrote for your friend
Beautiful
Luke - if we wanted to visit the church where you gave this message, what airport would you recommend? Are there any B&Bs nearby? Thx!
O.R. Tambo International Airport would be the one! And a close B&B would be Sunward Guest House in Boksburg. Please let me know if you come, it would be great to spend some time together.
Luke - we have very much enjoyed your hymn histories! This is the first message we have listened to and it is superb!! SD Stevens, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA; 5 Aug 2024, 0550 hrs, CST
Wow, thank you so much for taking a look at my sermons here. I am so humbled that you have taken the time to listen. Glory to our gracious God!
As you were talking about knocking on heaven's door & intercessory prayer it suddenly hit me that Abraham is an example of that for us!! Remember when he was talking to the Lord about Sodom & asking the Lord repeatedly "but if only" & I had never connected this chapter in this way before but it is an excellent example. Abraham was knocking at God's door & God was responding to him.
Good morning,watching from USA
God Bless you Luke for sharing this 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you Luke...good message
Excellent msg, building blocks for prayer. They always work ❤
Thank you Luke for this message. While prayer is very, very important every day and all day, we must never forgot the power of the Holy Spirit within us. It is not by works that our prayers are heard, by striving to get it right, but by relying on the Holy Spirit within us.
So wonderful to pray to God. I take as talking and working with Him. One can do this many times during the day. Thank you Jesus for taking up our sin enabling us to setting this up ❤
Please, what were the songs that were dropped out of the video? Thank you so much for your inspirational words and songs.
We were so sorry to have to drop the songs, but there was an error on the recording of the music and the vocals didn't come through. They were: - PRAISE: Holy Holy Holy, Shout to the Lord, How Great is Our God - PURPOSE: May the People's Praise You - PROVISION: Jehovah Jireh, Great is Thy Faithfulness - PARDON: Love of God - POWER: Battle Belongs - PRAISE: Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow
Thank you so much. Praying God's blessings for all of you. From here in Miami to South Africa, our hearts are one in the love of God.
Luke, I always think of the analogy of a married couple who live in a house together, him at one end & her at the other & never communicate yet consider themselves married!! I live on my own in a converted garage which is part of the main house that my family live in & yet we rarely converse & so I am alone for days, weeks without speaking to them. I can go out to their room & try to converse but most of the time they are not interested in talking to me & so conversation dies & I return to my room. If they are in the mood then we can spend an hour just chatting, usually about their interests... Sadly I am noticing that my prayer life is doing much the same thing of late, so I am going to use these next four weeks listening to your series & working on my prayer life!!
Man, that's hard, but I think you're on to something. Jesus, as a practicing Jew, would have prayed the Shema, and would have done this three times a day. It's a short prayer, and He gave us a version that we know as the "Our Father". The word Shema means "to hear", but in a responsive engaging way. So my take on this is that when we pray, God listens, and when we read His Word, we (should) listen. A good explanation is given on @bibleproject . I pray that your journey to an intimate relationship with our Father is productive and fulfilling.
Jesus transformed my heart.Jesus made me aware of the fact that I have a soul. That made all difgerences
Thank you ❤
Thank you ! 💜We really appreciate you!💫 "Blessed are..those who preach good tidings to the poor in (heart) spirit."
