@RevBombUK it certainly was brother. But fun, loving the videos man. Keep up the great work pal 👍 you also take care buddy.
You hope they are ok You hope they’re ok 👍
Not seen any cows come to Glasgow plenty o cows there
When you lose your Speedo function do you also lose your Odometer or Trip distance functions?
@tonyvidtube no buddy, just the speedo. But it's never happened to my friend sanjays bike.
Wr125 cracking bike I love enduro bikes. Currently riding a wr450. What bike are you looking at bud.
I'm not sure, pal. There's so much choice out there. Gonna give it a good think, over winter buddy. Stay safe pal.
Keep it up good work

what rpm do you change gear at
It depends on the circumstances ie if your going up or down hill what type of weather your riding in. In essence there is no specific rpm that you change gear it depends on what situation you find yourself in. When out riding eventually you get a feel for it.
I, on the other hand, thought the cbt and mod 1 and 2 were good ideas. Yeah, you cover some of the stuff on a cbt, but it’s not the same. could you incorporate it into a cbt? Not on 1 day. You wouldn’t want a new rider on anything more than a 125 to start. My mods were done on 650 and 700. Big frigging difference than a 125. So I can see why they made it the way they have. Yes, you can do mods on lower cc, but what’s the point? A 600 for under 24s? Is a good idea. I was an ass when younger in a car, and I'd probably be dead on a bike at that age 😆. Do mods on a lot bigger cc bikes and come back and tell me that’s a sound idea to put in a cbt cos a 125 won't cut it. Upto 300cc for over 24s? It's not a bad idea, but I would say need an advanced cbt. I get the frustration, but to me, it makes sense. Maybe I’m just getting old now and want the younger ones to be safer than us nutters in our xr3i’s from an eon ago 🤣 My biggest issue is insurance for the young ones. It’s just silly. It’s getting to the point they need to put some much excess that it’s simply not worth to bother claiming the insurance or that they have to pay a stupid amount to start with. That's my take it on anyway.
I agree with you about the bike license its stupid. If you're 16-19 you should be on a 125cc 20+ you should be allowed anything up to a 300cc.
Years ago you could get a provisional car licence and buy a 125cc and ride it straight from the shop. The current system is complete bullshit but it's designed to be as all parties in parliament work from the same book and until people realise that and stand up telling them enough nothing will change.
Mate keep it , E V , batteries don't like cold . 2 thirds the advertised level . So I have read . Just look at electric scooters the little ones.
6:30: what you're saying about instructors and testers is so open to cheating and corruption................
I've had 2 bikes . There was so much problems with getting them correctly insured that when one was stolen I decided to not replace it.
that would mess up quadricycle rules and roll back for drivers to get rid of 50cc. It's a matter of risk balance for the novice. If you pass the moped test you can drive an ami at 16 and heave quadricycles are linked into a restricted licence as well. One post I saw that made me think is the fact that mopeds are the only motor vehicles you can use for hire and reward on a provisional, should this be the case? The problem is that parents are not riding and kids then are facing a higher barrier to getting on two wheels because "danger"
Nice ideas mate, good to see the xdv still riding good gonna try catch up with you soon
Definitely brother glad to see your not barrred from super sausage. Stay safe pal.
That servicing doesn't sound right at all. I don't have that bike personally, but it's usually thousands of miles after the first service. Does the bike have a service reminder on the dash?
I thought the same same thing buddy, apparently it does have a service reminder on the dash. But they said. If it comes on ring us and we will talk you through how to reset it. Again to me raising a red flag, as they did not reset after the first service. Won't be buying from them again, hope all is well buddy.
How many miles on the lexmoto, any problems?
@danalexanghel 837 miles zero problems no rattles or squeaks, if anything the bike is feeling alot better now the engine is almost run in, Best bike i have bought so far buddy.
@@74dibo i have a linhai buck adv 125 with around 200miles very similar the only diffrence is the body trim a bit, back suspension and has abs+tcs and engine seems to be Yamaha Nmax sourced from what I can tell. This Lexmoto xdv what engine does it have? I noticed that honda engines have the oil strainer on the left side around the transmission case and yamaha have it under the engine.
Ave got 941 miles and still loving it
Instructors as examiners..Great idea In the early 90s I took 10 lessons with an instructor who was strict but fair. I failed my first practical test mainly due to nervousness but passed on the second attempt a month later. Found out after i passed that my instructor was a Police rider. His critical observations made me a safe rider. I have never dropped any of my bikes and have a clean licence, no endorsements ,speeding tickets. etc.
Having a separate testing body stops or at least prevents dodgy licensees being handed out. Like you get with the CBT. I agree with what you're saying about the cost, insurance companies are taking the mick these days. Someone should put a cap on what they are charging. Bikes are supposed to be a cheap way to get around not this. Also HOW HAVE YOU NOT HAD THIS RAIN! I'm in Southport and if my camera wasn't waterproof It would be ruined by now.
You've got some sensible ideas about the bike test. Unfortunately there's nothing sensible about the test we have now lol I found it very difficult and very expensive. They say its not, but it seems the examiners are out to stop you passing. Mine was a little Hitler, who didn't seem happy at all when I did pass. If I'm honest if I knew what it was going to be like I wouldn't have even bothered. Thankfully I have a full licence now and don't have to bother anymore. I've heard rumours about the licensing system changing, but whether or not it will is anyone's guess.
Iv jus order mine, what would you recommend? How hard are the levers to change over? GREAT video
It is really easy to do the levers. Takes less than 10 mins to do buddy.
@@74dibo what sprocket did you change too? Thanks
My Son did the rear sprocket i think it was a lexmoto lxr rear sprocket from cmpo, if i remember rightly it has 2 less teeth. The bike handled it very well. We both preferred it. It's a lot better than the standard rear sprocket. Pal
It was a lexmoto lxr rear sprocket from cmpo. Definitely a better sprocket than the one that comes with the bike.
@@74dibo okay thanks cool. Thought was front that was lucky didn't order yet Hahah
Noooo, not electric 😢😂😂 It's the future, but I'll hold off. Enjoy, though, bud 😊
What a cracking bit of road!
What do you mean is not good, please detail?
If you can afford to keep the scooter keep it a bike is definitely more fun and engaging but the scooter is a godsend when you just want to pop about.
Great bikes, and yes very high seat. I'm 6'4 and it still felt big when i had a go on one😂
Genuine review. Experience counts for everything.thanks
Just glad you're back . After a brush with death you certainly appreciate lfe . Keep doing what makes you happy 😊
Glad you're back mate, albeit through the wars. I'm still out after my pelvis surgery 4 months ago 🙄 Still waiting for bloody hospital appointments. Oh well soon be Christmas 😂
God bless you, brother. I hope you get sorted out ASAP. Thank you so much for reaching out. God speed to your recovery buddy. Take care, pal.

27/28 and just dropping to 25......... Meanwhile in Scotland we've had the wettest summer ever!
For comparison I went to wales yesterday and spent over £80 on fuel alone on my VFR800. There is merit to small cc bikes if you can live with them. I also remembered the Only Fools and Horses episode where they tried selling helmets with a turban on top to cash in on the law lol.
like the videos man and the random blether lol, just curious if you have had the xdv to 60? i have a 3 mile dual carraigeway trip a few days a week, just wondering if it can hold its own in the left lane? have a good holiday 😁
Absolutely without a problem, buddy, and it doesn't make a meal out of it. When doing so
@@74dibo Awesome, that's me made up my mind, I'm getting the xdv, gonna get it with the luggage so I can stick my camping gear in it
Definitely can, buddy. Great choice of bike pal, you won't regret it. @kevinmarshall2205
Good vid keep it up 👍 builder
I get the boak 🤢🤮 just looking at those things. And speaking as an engineer....they are built terribly. Lada's had higher build standards in the 1980s.
Can't beat a scooter, I will never own another geared bike ever again.
Nice. What mods have you done to it, love the levers too.
what was up at the junction ? looked like the throttle had no effect on the engine ?
I got one there slow don’t get 125
Hello, So where was you riding around? Also, I'm looking for Scooter owner's like our's to make friend's and go out for ride's with... I live in the St. Helen's/Warrington/Wigan area. ps. I reached out to Scooter Club's in my area which all only seem to have rider's with Scooter's such as Vespa's or similar style/design. I have a SYM Symphony ST , I told them this and asked if any make/model Scooter owner could join or come along on a ride, and guess what? No one messaged me back on Facebook and there isn't even any trace that I even joined any of their Facebook Group's on there, so I think that they may have, I think shunned is the word, me. Thank's
Sorry to hear you didn't get a reply from the scooter folks, we ride around Rivington mostly. And occasionally to Blackpool and several other places including devil's Bridge. We usually go to Rivington barn every Sunday. You are more than welcome to join us. We will arrive at Rivington barn this Sunday between 1 and 1.30 pm. We may be going to Blackpool on Sunday hope to see you out buddy take care pal.
Sounds like: You need a Vespa. Why did you buy that specific bike ?
@@74dibo Are you there now? I am!!
Just loved the fact that it's different than other scooters being that it's an adventure scooter.
Sorry for the late reply. We didn't manage to get out today. Pal
Keep it up man
