This is great, but how do make the app link that the customer ultimately gets routed to, safe, secure, and un-shareable with non paying users?
Good point! I like to create a separate component called AuthCheck - inside I run conditional rendering: I check if the user is logged in, and then add the svelte <slot/>, or display the message to log in otherwise. I will add that to the GitHub code!

Yes, we are interested in step by step coding. Although, maybe svelte + supabase Also, do u use svelte 5 version?
I use svelte 4, since 5 I not stable yet. I’m working on the tutorial with Firebase first, but I’ll give supabase a try later and see where it goes!

Was there a reason you didn't mention Supabase?
I did mention it at the beginning! Supabase uses Postgres as the database so that’s why I didn’t talk about it separately.

You can start a business off it and enjoy it as well. I’m studying computer science, so I looked for something around this subject: web design, app development or even just making Notion templates. I think there is no need to learn Mermaid for general purpose. I simply use Microsoft Copilot (Window + C). You can even use Notion AI if you have it.

i don't really understand the point of using notion, don't you waste time formatting your notes to make them look nice even though you could just use the default windows note pad to note stuff ?
You could use the basic notes app. I still use them when I have to make something quick. But when I’m studying, playing with the layouts, adding colours and stuff makes the process a bit more fun and helps me remember more. Up to personal preference!

How does it compare to obsidian?
Obsidian is a bit different - it’s more focused on personal knowledge management while Notion is more focused on projects and teams. But Obsidian definitely has more affordable pricing: $50 per user per year (for commercial use). The choice depends on what you’re looking for, both are good options!
