@@ryan3703 I ended up going to Cancun late July and you should definitely book the activities through a website because we stayed at Riu Palace Kukulkan and the activities there were way too overpriced

⁠@@kenziegandyYou can just book on the main website depending on what activity you do. For some activities, they’ll send a bus to come pick you up if you want like if you do a cenote or something and other activities you’ll have to drive there. Just don’t buy the hotel activities because they’re pretty expensive

It’s a great resort for all. Went as a couple and I noticed all types of groups (solos, families, bachelors, etc)

Going to riu in a couple days heard the food at resort isn't great

@J G survived off jerk chicken at the beach shack which was good, and pizza... food wasn't great, bahia in runaway bay was way better a couple years ago. Also better booze. RIU booze was horrible, I'd bring a couple bottles of your favorite. You would think they would have appleton estate rum at least considering its from there lol

@@roamingrambler8940 lol kinda what I was expecting, I’ve stayed at other all inclusive resorts in other countries and the food wasn’t that great but drinks was alright. Going to Riu Montego Bay this upcoming weekend and at least wanted to see what others was saying. Thanks for the heads up !

Not quite sure. We really only drunk what was displayed to pick from.

I booked it all through Expedia! Excursions were mostly within 10 mins. We just took the city bus to our locations costing at $1 per person per ride. Otherwise there were the ziplining, atv and Cenote which were about a hour away.

Yes transportation if you buy it from Xelha’s website included transportation back to your resort as well. I believe it was 5pm when the bus leaves. But they’ll give you more information on the bus of return time/ location (which is the same sport they dropped you off at).

No it was not.

Yes there’s many entertainments. I wasn’t able to attend all of them because I was out most the days. But there was an amazing fire show.

Yes there were 2 restaurants and 2 buffets. Food wasn’t the greatest compared to other resorts.

Horseback riding was about $110 per person!

Hello! Overall stay was good. Amenities were good as well. Not the best resort to be honest. I wouldn’t go again but I did definitely have a memorable time with my family. I suggest resorts in Cancun!

@@alexischaidez5275 No worries! Keep asking questions! And yes it was a Junior Suite with Lagoon View. So not necessarily the ocean up close but from a far distant you can see the ocean over the restaurants across the streets. Our view was the smaller pool in the back, main road and Cancun’s beautiful skyline at night. Definitely better than Ocean View at night since we were out all day too.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply! I absolutely loved the resort. Only downside is that there’s only 1 adult pool and is a smaller resort. But that did not bother me at all. I would definitely go back. The food and staff were amazing. There’ not much activities in the resort. You can always go out and ride the bus for $1 and explore Cancun.

There wasn’t much. Just the usual of a Tv, small dining table, couch and balcony.

Just some chips and crackers. In the fridge was bear, pop and water. Room cleaners refilled everyday if it was empty. We didn’t eat/drink any of it besides the water.

For sure when I’m able to! All inclusive was everything. The only time you’re pulling out cash is for tipping. Unless if you’re in the gift shop obv. Haha.

I do not unfortunately! The menus use to be on the website itself but It looks like they’ve taken it down. Everything there but the desserts were delicious though!

Jungle Tour is an excursion. So you do have to pay for it. The resort only provides food/drinks.

Yes I recommend! Everyone there were so kind especially the staffs. All inclusive. Pool hours are long. Drinks/ foods were amazing. Only downside is that it’s not as big but that was not a problem at all. I can’t wait to go back. I just went to Jamaica for an all inclusive but nothing beats Cancun.

When you check in, ask them about the Covid testing. They will answer all questions. Very quick and simple. You will reserve a Covid test 3 days before departure and they will email results.

We are going also end of Feb...hope testing is easy

@@mnmongoose4694 yea it actually wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. They don’t even go all the way up in your nose. Only about half way. Only very slight discomfort for like 3 seconds
