The wood couldn't creak more if you asked it to, wow. Plus, judging by the amount of crap under the hangman's nails he has no blood on his hands, just crap instead.

Who was this woman? Is this a true story? What was her crime? I see a comment here that she "voted for the reform party"? Can anyone explain this please?
It is an adaptation of the novel La lampe dans la fenêtre by Pauline Cadieux, itself based on the real-life 1890s murder trial of Cordélia Viau and Samuel Parslow. Set in a village in the 1890s, the film centres on Cordélia Viau (Louise Portal), a woman who invites men into her home while her husband is away. This action offends the conservative villagers. One of the men who was invited in is found dead and the woman is suspected and judged for her immoral act rather than the crime of murder she may have committed.
Who got a boner watching this.....be honest
many people will go to hell for what they have done to GODS children thru out time
What was her crime
Shoplifting, in Texas.
Теперь она не сможет никого ласкать. Раз её убили, значит палачам теперь придётся любить друг друга 🤷♂️
Meglio la Guigliotina 😂
Apparently she was seen wearing a MAGA hat. This is the penalty.

Please try and upload the complete movie. Many thanks ❤❤❤
for the ppl wondering, 2:43 was the exact moment.
Love it. Do you have the whole movie?
what's the point of the hood if it's still see-through? isn't the purpose of it to act as a blindfold? so they don't see what's going on
వీళ్లకేం రోగంరా బాబూ..బంగారంలాంటి ఆడదాన్నిలా చంపేసారు..ఛీఛీ!!.
Y?
Disgusting!
Her crime apparently she voted for the Reform party
So erotic. We need to bring this back ASAP.
whatever.
What movie is this from 😊
The hangman is as dumb as a brick in Chicago street. He left the knot in the middle off her back, should be just behind her left ear. Idiots!😊
Note that there is always a clergyman on hand to sanction murder by the State.
An execution is legitimate as a consequence of a corresponding verdict even without a clergyman. A murder is defined differently. The clergyman acts on behalf of the convicted person. He makes it clear to him, but also to the public, that neither the crime nor the execution should deny him divine grace. If a convicted person is an unbeliever or a member of another religion, no clergyman or, if desired, a representative of the other religion would be present. A major problem in connection with the death penalty is that public opinion often goes beyond the execution and is directed against the convicted person as a human being. Depending on the crime, the wishes range from a painful execution to eternal damnation. The clergyman, on the other hand, is a sign of contradiction.
@@jochenwirtz7506 Ostensibly, the shaman is there to offer solace to the condemned. In fact, his role is to sanction the termination of a life by the State. His presence makes those who walk a condemned man to his end feel better about their role in the grisly matter.
@@1polonium210 I wrote what I understand to be logical and correct. Is your answer based on something? I'm not convinced. It's possible that those involved feel better as a result, but I think that's more of a side effect. Clergy and shamans are not the same thing.
@@jochenwirtz7506No. No different. Only different in your mind.
@@TomSmith-ll2lp What isn't different? - Clergy and shaman? Only someone who doesn't understand anything about it can say that.
2:43 Yes, it is good and right. Do it and open the trapdoor.

Is this a good film?
I really enjoy watching all these. It gives my life a sense of meaning and purpose.
mine too
Just kind of hanging out
Her only crime was that she didn't have enough money to pay a good lawyer.
Movie Name ??
Cordelia maybe.
Me know not.@@bunom3317
I can not fathom how humanity can be so cruel 😢
Well the NFB site describes her as a woman who loved life and had a lively spirit, which totally explains her inviting a variety of men home while her husband was away and makes it extremely unlikely she used a hired hand to murder said husband. The townspeople's judgmental attitude to her lively approach to life totally makes it unlikely she was guilty of the murder for which she was hanged.
@randomobserver8168 I see, I was trying to find the movie to figure out what happened, but either way hurting a human. Thank you for the input.
we are trying to execute all the cruel ones so there won't be so many heinous crimes.

Sick Video!🤨

What is the point of the blindfold if you can see throw it
The blindfold isn't for the victim. It's for the spectators. So they don't see her face --- distorted and tortured expression --- at the last.
Through
Through
I think point of the blindfold was that others could not see her face, before and after. What was she supposed to have done?
@@jinnbuster4753 Hey, that's just what I said !
