I am so glad this problem is being addressed because men twist the scriptures to justify their decisions and, the Godly wife is to just sit back and reverence and obey him.

Great sermon in addition to sound advise for those times in life that are a struggle. Judy made an excellent point in stating new testament writings on judging by the fruit one bears. Larry's closing statement was worth remembering for we all should seek the advise of the lord and those that have the values we aspire to be. I would like to also add to this sermon that in Samuel chapters 15-17, God is ever present in all encounters. Those seen and unseen. He is working in all things to bring about his plan. Thank you Larry and Judy for this beautiful sermon

I did and i never worked for me but that was only in my case that the woman wasnt committed truly. She didnt believe but just wanred the white wedding in a church which she didnt believe in also. Not truly anyway .

IMO I feel fellowship and marriage are how God shows us His love and nature.to us. To resolve and celebrate differences in Love and togetherness.......if only we would listen, and put aside our pride.

I have known Larry and Judy for a decade and for once I can truthfully say that what you see projected as a happy marriage outwardly actually is one for real. I also know from many conversations and their depth of understanding that they have found their way through the reality of conflict in marriage and both of them have walked the walk and only now are talking the talk. If you have been battered and in effect abandoned by what can be dangerously scripturally biased 'Christian' advice and teaching on marriage (as I was) you can safely open your ears to what they say. There is no exploitation or ego trips in their efforts or their marriage. Submission in marriage is clearly modelled as a mutual endeavour which is scriptural. Please subscribe to their channel by clicking on the red subscribe button to help them in their efforts to reach out and help marriages. Any links or mutual profile raising or technical know how as to use TH-cam effectively to spread the word would be a God send to them as this is a brave new world for them. Maybe you could comment to make initial contact with them. To quote one of my favourite lines from the Hymn - Be thou my vision 'Heart of my own heart.' This is what a marriage should be.

Larry Gentis and I have shared online for years and enjoyed the spiritual maturity of each other's posts. It's encouraging to see a spiritually realistic approach to moving forward in a conflicted marriage relationship.
