I love this planner! How much did narrow the planner by or what are the specs?

I know this is an older video but did you think about a folio/TN hybrid cover. And put your notebook in there for the writing and stuff. And then use booklets /TN inserts for the monthly and weeklies. Even if you cut the A6 compact so it didn’t have the blank pages. And was just the parts you needed.

AE is fake leather. I’ve not had my 2nd popper show. I think the front pocket caused it. Did you lengthen the strap any?

I have the A6 full year common planner. I love it for my functional planner. It fits in my purse. I use the blank pages for my daily pages where I write what I did. Then I use my weeklys for appointments and same with the montlys. I have an A5 notebook, just a dot notebook for my creative journal.

It’s everywhere. I had covid 2 days before Xmas, broke my leg on the 1st and now I have a migraine. This sucks.

I know this video is old but does the pen loop bother the edge of your inserts in the 20mm?

Where is the wallet insert from?

The half year CP might be a good fit. Less chunky but enough space for dailies. Compact if you don’t need the dailies. You could also change up how you are marking all the days in all the places to make it easier in the smaller size. Get a printable that’s 6mo on each page and cover the year overview so you have 6mo on the left and 6mo on the right. Then you have more space for color coding. And maybe use your side bar in the monthly to make a list by color code of days off, pay days etc. so you can save space in the actual monthly. Alternatively you might try B6 since it’s between the two and a sort of middle ground.

That would be my perfect planner! Stunning! I have two Gillio XL, and they’re too wide for personal or my liking.

You can always pair a half year or quarterly Wonderland222 with your planner for extra pages if you use the 365+ pages in the common planner.

I feel the same way about sterling ink’s florals. They are cute but I prefer shine stickers’ or sweet kawaii designs. I love how bold they are and the bright colors. Sterling ink is very dainty. Sorry about your mom. Us women, caregivers, we need to implement self-care and advocate for ourselves.

I did something similar with a Filofax binder. I went to a shoe repair place and they added a dyed-to-match strip of leather to the center, and it looks great! Very durable and inexpensive - basically the cost of labor. I love experiments like that! Terrific video!

I used to buy quite a bit from CS but have not for a couple years. I have never had an dye come off, that sounds like an issue on their end for sure. Your covers are beautiful but that would be annoying. I would have called them, that is a lot of money to have to spend all that time soaking up dye.

I love the a6 too! Its my fav, but my edc, even though at times it feels HUGE, is a b6 at the moment….but I’m thinking my b6 can be my everything planner but my a6 can still be my edc?? We’ll see next year (cuz I’m loving my system right now). i also have a super cute pocket tn I’m thinking of using next year as an edc. my a6, b6 and pocket are all tns.

I have that same CS Cover! Love how that leather looks! I am looking to downsize to a smaller, more portable planner, but I have to take "baby steps," so A6 may not happen until 2026! It is fun to play around and experiment (unfortunately, that generally means purchasing not only notebooks/planners in various forms, but also fancy covers, and, of course, you must have multiple covers, so you can switch them out by season, right?)

A6 is my favorite too…I prefer the bound books though right now, but for work I prefer the happy planner. Just super easy to take stuff in n out. But so glad i touched on over consumerism. Really struggling with that right now and I know its worse cuz of the stress I’m feeling. Loved also that u touched on health. We r all on a journey and we share certain struggles with others. I am struggling with some physical health issues that I don’t know where they will lead me. Trying to do what I can and stay positive.

Please let me know what brand that cute little brown clicker pen is. It seems like the perfect size for A6 and Pocket. ❤

You know I could never get down with the stack of planners . Im the type of person that writes alot and the college ruled notebook is fine enough for me and right now Im using laser jet printer paper that I put my own images and lines on and I just use that and my fountain pens and Im good to go. I can not afford a Hobonichi or a common planner so I work with what I have and watch the people who are blessed to have one because they really have some nice layouts.

I’ve been really enjoying my Sterling Ink Common Planner! I did do the split year in B6 for 2023, but for the 2024 pre-order, I decide to do the B6 Compact, Full-Year. I’m finding that because I have so many other notebooks that I don’t use all the writing pages, so I’m hoping the compact will solve for that. Also, I’m finding that I had to noting future dates for the second part of the year, and I wasn’t consistent enough with writing those down in the same place and then transferring those to the second book since I didn’t have on me. Love the idea of being able to experiment with a different second part of the year. For sure make that suggestion to Catherine! 🥰 Thanks for sharing!
