Must admit I do agree about all the clickbait and the copycat videos on vanlife channels. If I even see the word 'disaster' or 'forced to leave' - or anything similarly dramatic, I just click past it, and I never watch that channel again. Its 90% likely to be clickbait, so I no longer waste my time trying to find out. But sadly I think the clickbait works, so they'll all carry on doing it.

Camping is in a tent - like I did when I was young. Wild camping is going into the wilderness with what you can carry with you. Off-grid to me means off the grid with no connection to the grid (electrics, water, sewage) - in other words, self-contained.

My XT 4 wheel drive has windows like that , its an old model

I had my handbrake fixed recently , you need to be careful of garages they are bastards , £175 they wanted , so in the end i bought the new cable for £17 off ebay they accidentally sent me a genuine OEM part lol so paid a mobile bloke like £50 to fit it saving myself over £100 quid and for the £50 Jay even checked the condition of the rear brake shoes and the front brakes which thankfully all are ok , MOT on my little Fiat 500 due in a month so expecting £200 to pay out in repairs as the Track rod is bent on the drivers side due to the roads lol , hopefully you get the brakes sorted probably ABS or something ?

Do those electric windows keep going up if anyone sticks a hand or something out

Here's a question Kate? What do you do if the mechanic says the motorhome needs work that could take a few days? Would they let you sleep in it at the garage car park etc? I guess that or you would be having to get a hotel room , Hopefully a quick fix today for your home
