Are you talking about the interdiction attempt?

@@nemolomen3526 don't think so, you went into supercruise then did something out of it involving an escape vector? I'm new to the game so not quite sure lol

The escape vector? At about 30:30? That was an interdiction, an NPC (in this case) trying to pirate my cargo. The escape vector shows you where to keep your ship pointed to escape the interdiction attempt. Normally there are blue and red bars on the left and right, respectively, to show who is winning the interdiction contest (blue is you, red is interdictor) but those are not shown as that was a bug in Update 7/7.01 which is now fixed again in update 8/8.02. It takes practice to get out of interdiction attempts. And there's only one way to get that practice...as far as I know...

I was too. Got into it slowly. One day I decided to try bounty hunting, bought an Alliance Chieftain and died a few times. Figure about 5 Mil rebuy for an unengineered Chieftain. It take some getting used to. The best advice I can give you is, if you have enough cash in the bank (several hundreds of thousands of credits), don't worry so much about losing a few ships from time to time. It's part of the learning process. Today alone I lost my AX Chieftain about 10 times (6 ganks in open and 4 times the goids got me). Total cost for the loss was about 70 Mil. So not too bad for the amount of fun I had today...
