I recall watching the first couple of episodes in 2006 at age 8 but could never find the time to continue this show. The initial visuals of the show plus Eva's plan stuck in my mind though. Years passed. I finished school, got a job, experienced grief and said goodbye to various versions of myself. As I write this I'm in my mid-twenties now, and I've been hit with a nostalgic desire to go back and check out media from the late 90s - early 00s and revolving around futuristic sci-fi, as it was presented to us as kids. The future was sometimes presented as optimistic, as adventurous. I remembered this show's existence as an adult, and i just finished watching it. Seeing now that it has had a recent resurgence with its Blu-Ray Kickstarter and upcoming sequel project (nothing but hope for that) I was astounded to see how much it holds up, as well as surprised at how fairly adult its themes of loss and family were for a kid's show. That compels you, as an adult, and it awakens the child in you. The longing to go back to a past you treasured, back when you were optimistic about the future. Watching this as an adult hit me in a way i didn't anticipate and I'm all the more thankful for it.

I just keep coming back to this song from this anime. Jetix was top tier with all its shows, to me this song represents the sweet times with all of them.

It’s nice but also strangely convenient so many people apparently found this series in 2020, considering the whole series is about finding a balance between trying to move on from grief by just blocking it out and also not trying to go back to how things were and hurting yourself even more. This show was way ahead of its time, and even in cgi effects the show has held up remarkably well using it sparingly

I can't believe I just discovered this show in my 20's. I don't remember ever watching any Jetix shows in my country other than Digimon Savers english dub and Shuriken academy and a few others.

Esta canción esta hermosa 💖❤️ simplemente me dan ganas de llorar al escuchar esta canción , pues me llena de nostalgia y de tristeza ya que este grandioso anime no obtuvo el valor que merecía y que los que lo pudieron ver desde el principio hasta el fin aún lo seguimos recordando y no nos arrepentimos de cada segundo de haberlo visto. Mi corazón a una anhela que algún día saquen una OVA o un spinoff que siga la continuación o solo que mejoren los gráficos. Espero que algún día suceda .....
