I like the origin. I also have the origin so I am biased. I also have a fender twin and a blackstar. The origin is my go to. Along with my boss sd1 and ts9 and my reverb and chorus and fuzz and flange and looper and jhs little black box jammed in the pooper. I mean looper mean fx.

The Fender would sound ok as long as you keep the Vox in its box and never listen to it.

Well, I was going to get an Origin but now I think I'll definitely go for the DSL. Thanks for the vid.

I want a Maton because I want that AP5 system. But sadly, unplugged it doesn't even compare to the Martin. I wish the Maton sounded better to me but it's thin and midrangey.

For chords strumming with a pick, Martin is better. Maton migth be better for finger picking with its brightness.

the bottom end just sounds out of control, like busted speakers. i guess i just light tighter amps

The Martin sounds better but the strings may be different than on the Maton who knows.

I tried the DSL and didn't like it at all, owned maybe 20 Marshall amps and the Origin 20 and Vintage/Modern were my favs of all of them. In fact getting another Origin 20 in 240v when i move to the Philippines as the trannys are not switchable as many others are.

The Artist by a long shot! It sounds fuller/warmer and not to mention all the extra features! Now (6 years later) its the Gen 3 and I still think the Artist has the 2x12 100 beat. Thanks for the review! 😁🤘🎸

Maton hands down to my ears, the clarity the snap is beautiful. The Martin is a beautiful full sounding guitar but gets too close to flat and compressed for me. The Martin sounds more like a cheap guitar with no definition.

In my opinion, the Marshall sounded the best - has that warm, thick and soft sound with a good breakup. Not only in this video, also in a local Guitar Store...I tried it against an deluxe reverb, which costs double or three times the price...the Marshall sounded warmer and more rounded to me...also the Ultra-Gain Channel(s) and the Boosted Clean sound + the two Masters are incredible great possibilities, so I tried it, loved it, bought it and love it more! :D But all four Amps sounded great here! :)

Maton is made for fingerpicking, you did not do it justice.

I have both. The Artist is superior. 1) Having the controls on the front is a clear choice by itself. 2) Just the 1 WAZA speaker sounds bigger, louder, warmer, heavier, crispier, and overall more "colorful" than 2 standard Katana speakers. I keep both for running in stereo. But if you can only have one, if you settle for the 100/213 you'll wish you had the Artist, but if you get the Artist you'll be happy you did.

I have the AC10 and love it but in all fairness I believe both amps sound amazing.

Just picked up a used Tweed Pro Jr. IV to check out based on my love for Fender amps like my '68 Custom Princeton Reverb. Looking for sweet Fender cleans at living room volume. I'm surprised to see a Jensen alnico in a 15-Watt amp I can snag for < $500 used. I have lower-wattage amps for rock'n'roll at 85 to 90 dB, and if that doesn't satisfy - this amp budget might leave room for a Tone King Ironman ii or similar high-quality, moderate power attenuator that could also be used with the Princteton. And which would open the door to even larger and more unruly Fender amps like the '57 Custom Deluxe Reissue or a '65 Deluxe Reverb . . . :o) 👍

Just bought one. All the traditional Tele tones, with the huge added neck position, pickups in series, which ads huge body to the sound. Haven't tried the F1 switch yet

well, i received mine yesterday and unfortunately, doesn't sound like it did in the store, or in this video. It's a little disappointing, but still a good cymbal.
