I have a 2014 f150 and the right rear squeals when i first start driving and make a right hand turn. It only does it when i turn right and then its like it warms up and doesn't do it anymore. I cant tell if its the brakes or wheel bearing.
Same thing and problem with my truck did you ever find out what was wrong with it
@@danielparrott5163i finally saw a video saying it was the emergency brake squealing. The Emergency brake apparently is hooked to the back right real wheel. I pressed down on the E brake just a touch while i was driving for just a couple of seconds. That seemed to help it. So far so good.
great video, thanks for getting me prepared
I’m doing this right now on my c250 coupe, thanks for this video. What a massive pain it is getting that upper cushion off to replace!
Not sure why but the audio is out of synch with the video by about 10 seconds - sorry
Where did you get that instruction book?
I ordered the factory service manual through Suzuki dealer . It is same one they use . $100 ouch !
The new OEM MB upper seat cover does not come with the 6 white clips nor is the fabric tube around the semi-circular wire inside the seat cover cut in the places where the white clips attach . Same for the bottom of the seat cover where it wraps around the bottom of the seat where the two torx screws secure the slide off rear panel . A pencil soldering gun makes nice clean holes in the tube fabric and the bottom wrap around .
Clarifications/amplifications - 1. The rigid back panel does not need to be removed to remove/replace the seat release assembly .2. If replacing the seat cover, the rigid wrap around plastic back panel also has several readily visible torx screws securing it to the metal seat frame . 3. The new OEM MB seat cover is not prepped for installation of the white wire clips ( see other video how to ) nor for the rear access panel (two) torx screws where they go through the seat cover mounting fabric at very bottom . A pencil soldering iron will make clean holes in the mounting fabric .
Can you please explain how to remove the rear hard cover after removing the headrest and six torx screws?
Does the clutch cover need to be removed to get water pump off ? Thanks
Yes it does and for that reason good idea to have a new clutch cover gasket handy and drain the oil but with bike on kickstand I did not have to drain the oil . The old gasket comes off easily and might get by reusing it .
My 05 f150 has a rear brake moan when the brakes are applied in reverse. The dealership doesn't know what it is, so they just say they can't replicate. I wonder if these would help
Its a low cost repair thats easy to do . You'll know if the old glide pins are hard to remove then they are toast. Grease new ones up with the ford grease that comes in the kit.

I noticed upon further inspection that it was not the Koyo oil seal that failed but rather the larger half part of the mechanical seal . The inner radius of the mechanical seal is made of rubber which had degraded allowing the mechanical seal large half to wobble on the impeller shaft thus letting a little antifreeze work its way past the mechanical seal interface to its other piece pressed into the impeller . To insert the new large side of the mechanical seal I just used a socket and tapped it into place. Also used a little blue loctite around the seal metal lip to insure it is leak free . This 2014 VS 650 had sat at the dealer from 2014-2016 covering about 20 miles total so prolly played a role in failure in 2022 at 11K miles .
