Yeah. I had no idea what did Megatron do to Starscream, but it was pertty evident that he messed with Starscream;s head. In a span of a few panels Starscream went from not wanting to kill prisoners of war into a psycho. And yeah, in the last few TF series Megatron got off easy (TFP, Netflix series, Earthsaprk) even tho he was a total monster. The Megatron bias is just crazy. T_T I really wish ther way Megatron treated his men was acknowledged more.

Agreed. We need to see a version of Megatron face some justice. Too many versions have a change of heart and get off scratch free as a result. He needs to get his due just once.

​@@craigvaughn5938 exactly, Megatron getting a redemption arc isn't really the problem for me, it's the fact most series don't tend to acknowledge how he needs to face the consequences of his actions and his actions get downplayed so he gets off scot-free compared to other decepticons,

this is why I think G1 Megatron's alt-mode is stupid, because he is the strongest Decepticon leader, yet his alt-mode is a tiny gun. Any Cybertronian with a strong grip can probably crush him. He should have a strong alt-mode like a tank or a big jet with a lot of firepower.

@@TylerCherry-b7m People noticed that, in the Energon Universe, Megatron's alt mode looks like a TANK on a gun handle...

@@autobot_dawson Idk, from the comcis it seemed like Starscream went trough a very suden personality shift in a span of a page (few panels). Megatron also did something to his head.

From what I can Optimus was the catalyst it was him killing Starscream's friend that led to him harbouring thoughts of vengeance that were manipulated by Megatron forcing his will on him,which eventually caused him to enjoy the power he got from killing

@@ishashifar Optimus killing Genovo was just the catalyst which pushed Starscream to join the Decepticons. Even tho he joined them he still didn't want to kill prosoners of war.

​@@autobot_dawson Megatron over-rides Starscream's will to make him use his gun mode, so he straight up didn't have a choice there. It's interesting to contrast Ulchtar explaining to his friend why he shouldn't kill the cybertronian bugs he doesn't understand, with Starscream's immediate reaction to seeing the cat and not knowing what is being wanting to kill it. It's like the mind-control rewrote his processors.

Yeah. this reminds me of the IDW storyline where Megatron was going trough a whole body reformat, and while he recovered Starscream was leading the Decepticon army. And he fucked up spectacularly. Megatron's proud army was reduced to a handful of injured, starving mechs who started cannibalizing their own people. He came back, beat Starscream into scrapmetal, and whipped his army back into shape. ;P
