Hi Kai, thanks for the tutorial and the great content. How do you manage to keep the audio of both guitars playing while switching video between them? I would like to record myself playing duo guitars but dont know the software or ways of recording. Thank you and cheers
to do that you would have to record yourself playing to a metronome so that both takes have the same timing. then afterwards, in a video editing software you would just put the videos ontop of each other. the audio would be blended together/stacked. and you would just cut between one video and the other

I remember when i learn most of the songs of KoC in songster page and its cool seen more people on yt explain these songs but mostly of all records plays like that in a bossa nova rythm good video mate. PD know how its hard as hell

Since a lot of you pointed this out in the comments (thanks btw!): Eirik is playing the song with a capo on the 3rd fret. Makes it easier to play the voicings. Check out my update tutorial th-cam.com/video/9wcJpttxUj4/w-d-xo.html

Standard tuning
This is awesome, thank you! It helped me a lot to figure out the riff. Anyway, after trying to learn this, I found it way easier for my clumsy fingers to play it with capo on third fret, as I think Eirik does when performing live. Just an advice for other clumsy fingers out there 😉

Hey, thank you for the nice tutorial :) Would you consider making a tutorial on the general guitar playing style of Kings of Convenience? In their documentary they say that Erik has developed a certain way of playing inspired by Bossa Nova picking.
Your tutorial Is wrong. I have seen Eirik in concert play this Song with a capo at the third fret. The G chord has the First finger on the 5 fret on the E, second finger on B 6 fret, third finger on G 7 fret, four finger on D 8 fret
hey there, thanks for clarifying this. other users have pointed that out as well. so go ahead use a capo on the third fret. It'll make the song so much easier than how I'm playing it. BUT wrong? no...
@@KaiLiauw You have not the same voicing of the G chord. If You know and you like It, there Is no problem
