Join me as I take part in the 2025 Ubuntu Bikers Run, an incredible event celebrating unity and brotherhood among bikers across Africa. Starting in George at Checkers on York Street, we rode over the breathtaking Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn, through Robinson Pass to Mossel Bay, and back to George.
This annual event, established in 2016, reflects the spirit of "Ubuntu"-"I am because we are." It brings together riders of all races and ages, showcasing the vibrant motorcycling community. Along the way, I faced a swarm of bees, enjoyed scenic views, and witnessed the power of biker camaraderie despite an unfortunate incident near Mossel Bay.
