Very rare footage [never been aired before] of The Only Ones from when we played “The Longhorn” in Minneapolis in 1979. It was shot on Super 8mm film by 19 year old Tom Belanger and his two friends. [A big thanks to them]. Super 8 film only last 3 minutes so there’s an abrupt edit when the other camera takes over, and the soundtrack is from the built in microphone on the camera. Enjoy.!!!!

Well we could certainly hear Zal playing but unfortunately we didn’t get to see him in shot doing his magic! Oh well…
I saw him more often than I heard him. I was hoping for one of his wild solos. There really wasn't any solo in the whole thing. He was the guy on the right with the dark glasses and spikey hair, in case you didn't recognize him.

The Devils Porridge was RDS Cordite a propellant used in bullets and shells. It was given the name Devils Porridge by Sir Arthur Connon Doyle who wrote the Sherlock Homes stories.
