@@omnimon2230 How is that not awesome? Reinforce was really gonna use super lethal weapons against Nanoha. Ergo, she judged that Nanoha can take it. Remember, she don't want to kill them directly, prefering to leave the book to rampage itself.

I think animation-wise the 2nd movie is still top (Reflection and Detonation are more fluid, but 2nd is more crisp and clean), but I also love what they did in Reflection and Detonation. It's really dark for Nanoha. People criticise twists like Phil turning up in Detonation in the last third, but I think it makes sense since he's the mastermind. Even when he was killed by Yuri, it did more seem like Yuri played into his hands And did you mean *the* Vita scene that gave Nanoha her nickname?

@@Kyouma. yeah I do agree with most of that - I actually thought Phil showing up filled in the blanks left in character motivations nicely - certainly makes Iris’ actions make more sense than it just being simple revenge against Yuri. And yeah the first encounter that Vita and Nanoha have I’m referring to - it’s a great clip to show people to get them to take notice.

Well, Erio likely trained a lot, and he was also trained by Fate, so he'd know how she fights. And Nanoha didn't get everyone. Vivo, Einhard, and Teana were still up after the double Starlight Breaker, and Nanoha's Breaker was weaker than Tea's despite her use of the Blaster System. And I'm not sure if Nanoha and Fate are still in their prime in Vivid, considering how much Nanoha already struggled against Vivio in StrikerS

@@Kyouma. few missconception here so let me correct it. First Blaster System doesn't equal increase in firepower in case of Starlight Breaker. Breaker magic operate by absorbing leftover mana on the battlefield, so althrough it can be boosted by user own mana, its main source of energy is whatever was left in the air, how much you are able to gather and how much time you spend to do it and compress it. Here Blaster System was used for multiraid - dividing system that used blaster bits to attack many targets. Additionally Nanoha couldn't imput much of her own mana in it as grown up were restricted in power output. For reason above Fate actually had hard time with Erio. Normally her mana pool would dwarf Erio's, and since both has the same fighting style and in Force are named "the fastest mages in TSAB", it actually would make a big impact. Another thing is that Fate was out of shape bc of all her deskwork as we see in adults warm-up - only Subaru was able to keep up with Nanoha. So was Erio, but he's only 13 so it's clear that he would have hard time catching with grown-up. It seems people are thinking that Enforcers are non-stop fighting on the missions. But as we learn from Chrono, Fate and Teana, their job - while dangerous bc faceing dangerous criminals - has far more to do with investigations, filework and trials. Experience gained this way is very limited combat-wise, so while she IS more experienced then Erio it isn't that much of the gap. Teana' Breaker wasn't stronger then Nanoha's. Theirs Breaker was about the same power(same source of energy) but they used it in diffrent way in diffrent position. Nanoha was high in the air, completely open so she was shot down while trying to shield herself from Teana Breaker, while Teana barely survived despite being hidden AND shielding herself. At that moment Nanoha had 1100LP while Teana had full 2500LP. We don't know how much damage Teana's Breaker did but Nanoha's hurt Teana by -2390LP. And infamous fight at the end. Putting aside how that fight was poorly written, the author gave Vivio an anti-Nanoha kit. The Unchained Mode made Vivio unbindable, simultaneously making Nanoha shields and barriers essentially non-existent. Add to it that Nanoha herself rarely practiced close combat, relying on defensive magic, and you're getting yourself a glass cannon. Next Vivio got herself reaction time at the level of dodging a spell fired in her face. With this, Nanoha's only choice is the suppression through overwhelming firepower - a thing she was doing through most of their fight, pushing Vivio to the point of both physical and magical exhaustion while she herself was simply unable to stand up in span of few second. Should I mentioned how commentator mentioned just a chapter earlier that Mid mages can attack from basically any position they are in? And finally, StrikerS Vivio in Sankt Kaiser mode, with backing of Cradle' mana reactor, AMF and Armor of Saints is something completely different from Vivio in Vivid. It's like you would take Reinforce Eins and Teana.

Nanoha wasn't on her prime in vivid, it was on strikers. There's a heavy consequences on using the blaster system(still on the experimental stage during strikers) inside an anti magic field like the saint cradle.
