Nissan Leaf 40kw Bendy Cells, Service EV message.
Amazing how much damage one or two weak modules can do inside a Nissan Leaf 40kw battery pack.
You can multiple cells, and the strong steel clamping plates, have been bent due to forces inside the pack.
This car had Service EV warning on dashboard, as well as terrible range and sagging modules on LeafSpy.
Guess they really should have added some form of cooling, expecting to see more of these fail in near future as this one contains cells made in 2018, shouldnt have failed so soon!

Just a short clip, for those of you looking at buying a Nissan Leaf battery from wreakers yard or someone online, its easier then expected to buy or make a cable to plug into the battery data port, plug in an OBD2 adapter, and connect up with LeafSpy to read SOH, SOC, and cell balance levels. Handy if you want to make sure your buying a gem and not a polished turd.
