Which type of brush should be used to clean this grinded floor by Scrubber Drier - hard or soft ?
Is that 180 mm cup wheel? What is model name of that Metabo grinder?
Too bad your effort doesn’t get a lot more attention. Thank you for the video, sir
At what grid did you dencified?
Good question. This floor was very soft and had much porosity. For this reason it was densified three times: once after 30 grit, then after 70 grit, and again after 100/200 copper pad. The extra densifier was to help the slab be stronger and produce a better polish.
@joshjones8047 so this too the place of a grout coat?
@ though not the same as a grout, to some extent it will help to fill the very small surface pores.
What grit to achieve this finish?
This was helpful
Do you have solutions for repair such concrete?
Nice job boys!
Man in Alabama summer putting water will just make the concrete steam and hold that moisture forever… 😂😂😂
Great work! Thanks
120 Grit Screen!!! Thank you for the demo...I got into installing things like flooring & I haven't stopped doing DIY type of projects! Been working on paint to sample for Porsche mobile driving app!
Amazing work 👏
WTF!?
Nice video. Would love to see a cove base tutorial.
What’s the set up cost run?
Sorry mate won´t get many views. 2 min ads before we can watch a 2min vid
How much can this machine take off? I need to take off 1/2” of concrete.
after grinding and blasting what were other steps taken before putting down the epoxy coating?
Will this shot blast remove existing paint lines in preparation to paint new lines in same exact spot?
The guy is still trying to take that slope out..
Did the old shed out the back... concrete was utterly horrid but so was the prospect of cutting, removal and re=pouring a new slab. Got my own grinder and it did a good job. I sealed it with a xylene based sealer as from what I could tell it had a similar product many years ago. Now however up one end I noticed when I moved a chair around it seemed hollow. Drilled a 20mm hole there today and bingo.... entire corner is hollowed out under the slab. I now need to check the extent by drilling more holes and will eventually pump something in there to stabilize it.
What is the name of the chemical densifier you used? Great video!
Gorgeous transformation! I'm ready to ABANDON carpet & grind, stain, & polish the underlying concrete slabs of two rental homes. Might have to do a 5k sq ft warehouse space too. Thank you for this informative video. 👊😎👍
what kind of tape are you using for this Josh? Looks like painters until you get close up shots.
Can you hook up a 110 vacuum to the same generator and run them both @ the same time???
Most people could not buy your machine just to do a room, better to rent, seems very efficient machine, thank you
What tape are you using?

@@BuyManufacturersDirect thank you sir
this is really prob but i'm just a guy who spilled some acid in my garage. can i just wet sand with like 120 grit and then 300 to knock off the top layer of concrete? or is that insane?
Did anyone catch which side is which ? Am I supposed to transfer the epoxy to another container to avoid fisheye?
asmr
Someone told me there whole garage floor is hollow. What does that mean for them.
😓 promo sm
We’ve repeated this process multiple times but the efflorescence keeps appearing and just pushing up each coat applied. Any ideas?
😂 Step 1: lightly dampen the substrate prior to pouring material. Step 2: Pour the mixed material as one thin ribbon. Step 3: Drag the poured ribbon by using a magic trowel. You can do this standing. Use the back side of the magic trowel to move the material. Step 3: let dry and remove high spots with a rub brick. Now you can go to the next coat.
So basically what I'm understanding is that you basically have to do the entire process again from the start even if you're refinishing existing polished concrete?
You went to all this effort of filming this BUT never showed the finished product, you showed a messy job at the end with your equipment still laying out, and no before and after shot.
we are factory of this kinds of machine from China
Love this more long format videos! why wet polish the majority of the process? is more effective?
Where can we purchase the variable speed control?
what brand of self leveling do you use?
Seems not effective so. What about solvent treatment and grinding concrete?
That’s a good question. It will capture and consume the hydrocarbons it can reach. If the slab continues to wick up more, then more treatments would be needed. Beside the hydrocarbons, contained in manufactured oils and fluids, there are detergents and other chemicals that will still be present and leave a stain. As for solvent and grinding, this is also another way to clean the surface. Just as subject to further wicking of the oil, this process would also need to be repeated.
whos product is this? Did you use regular concrete resins or terrazzo/marble resins. Assuming concrete resins as it was all dry use? Did you need to grout the the sections with marble chip?
I saw a tip that recommend taking a dimond blade concrete and cutting a line straight. You tape off the outside and the cut line is a stopping point but also fills in and serves as an anchor/reenforcing the edge. What are your opinions on this method?
Nice touch-up!
Thanks again for the lessons. I use them as a refresher for my teams.
I don't understand why everybody has to show a flake that's in the garage. I would love to use this in my living room and do a marble effect. I'm sure the demonstration would be more useful if it was applied in a marble effect for inside the house
I’m running a 300 cfm vac is that too much? I don’t know how far a loaded container is supposed to go but I think it’s getting sucked out prematurely.
I love these conversations. I just acquired 2 small machines. The ones just ran one in my pole barn. The questions I mainly have are, how fast is do they go through shot? How to you calculate how much shot to buy for a job? Can the vacuum be to powerful? Can you reuse the shot left on the floor? Is the only way to reuse shot a magnet pick up tool? How do you even calculate going rates for using the machine? Maybe I have more questions than answers from this video. 😅 thanks for the video 😊
It’s all about polyaspartic now🎉
Hi good day I have a vacume ebe 350 shot blaster that do the exact same thing how do I know if it suck enough
