The game has evolved. Just because Curry is not averaging 10 assists does not mean he’s not a true PG. If he wanted to he could average double digit assists but his shooting is so elite, GSW would rather have him shoot more than pass. His style doesn’t look like a traditional PG but he’s not a traditional player. Lol Curry is 1of1 when it comes to spacing the floor.

Curry is a PG because the offense starts with him. We’ve just never seen a PG shoot like this in our lifetime. He could average 10 assists if he wanted to no problem. His ability to shoot on/off ball is more lethal than him solely being a playmaker. The game has evolved. PGs today are going to do more than pass. Curry’s shooting creates open shot for teammates. He’s 1000% a PG it just looks different to what we’re accustomed to because of his elite shooting.

You would rather have him be passive & pass it to players who are not as good as him when it comes to shooting? Of course not. He averages around 6 APG. He’s also a PG that can play off the ball as well which helped us see the type of playmaker Draymond is during this dynastic run.

@@rAlexking_116 That is because he’s the greatest off the ball shooter we’ve ever seen. Defenses can’t just load up & trap him like we see with other PGs who are ball dominant. Now as a defense you’re looking to see where he’s at and that creates easy cuts & open shots for his teammates. So Curry is selfless. His teammates don’t have to wait to get the ball they can play make as well which increases their teammates IQ & makes the offense more dangerous. Curry is 1of1.

Curry is the first PG to completely rev up the PG position! It’s always been set the offense up and be the player coach. Now you have the pg being one of the best shooters ever that even revolutionized the whole offense game plans!

Curry does play like a PG. The offense starts with him. His elite shooting creates open shots for his teammates. Just because his style of play isn’t like Magics does not mean he’s not a PG. The league has never seen a shooter like him at any position. As a team, why wouldn’t you use that for your offense to succeed? If he wanted to average 10 assists he definitely could.

@@cjvstheworld suns don't have chemistry with Durant so it's a learning process with those guys right now and golden st has all the chemistry in the world. They can turn it on at any time with their shooting. I just don't believe in the suns this year last year yes but they just straight up choked against Dallas. This year just seems different with them. I have my opinion and you have yours just think they are not playing well.
