Everyone appreciate this band! Rare perfection! Still on a high from seeing them in Brighton ages back!

I remember seeing this band live at a Mac DeMarco gig at the Apollo in Manchester, and my mate turning to me and saying they're from Todmorden, a town just next to mine, over on tother side of the Yorks-Lancs border. Gave me hope for a new wave of Northern New Wave. Love this sound.

Rumour has it that, after reaching a certain age, you can't like new music. Well, this band proves that theory wrong. Maybe it's because this band swithes easily between the style of "Front 242" (Teeth), "Killing Joke" (Be My Guest) and "New Order" (Cut) and I have my musical roots in the '80s (i'm 52 right now)... this band still sounds fresh and new. Hope to hear more from them, so far they are my favorite new band from the last 10 years.

I recognise some archive footage here from the first gay superclub - HEAVEN - well placed actually, as it was the fusion of 80's underground queer music that made the house that Jack built. Think I may have a bit of a boy crush on Syd ( he is adorable /enigmatic and thats partly what makes this band along with the lovely stern faced ladies), but know he's already spoken for ( by my friends daughter).
