What you are supposing requires that you already have a Porsche. You could build a fleet of track Hondas for the cost of a GT3.

@@BabyPlutoSVP if you've ever driven a porche GT3 ( I'm guessing you haven't) they feel amazing at 140mph, much much stable and less stary then a 90s Honda. They drive very nicely however they are also ridden with problems. You can buy substantially better cars for much less. Your just paying for better quality leather and carbon ceramics brakes with the porche. To each their own, I personally have 3 track Honda's, 2 trailers, 2 new Toyota tundras. I could have a porche if I wanted to but it's just a car. Nothing unique, nothing special, nothing with character.

@@BigRichard_ never been a big Porsche guy…use to have a GT2 and yes I have driven GT3s… my point is I just know a stock Honda will never keep up with a stock Porsche…

@BabyPlutoSVP The other points made here are reasonable (a stock porsche being more stable at speed than a built honda), but your original message mentioned nothing about stock porsche vs a stock honda. That is a silly point to make. Debating a $100k+ car vs a track car built for $20k is akin to discussing two different worlds. These are things for people who exist in different realities. I know as I ran a cheap car at track days for a few years surrounded by folks with far more money than myself. We all had fun and went fast. But those guys with vettes and Porsches just rolled in their trucks and backed their baby out of an enclosed trailer. Meanwhile, I drove may car to the track, unstrapped the track tires from my roll cage, swapped in the track brake pads and put on the track tires before tech inspection. There's nothing wrong with those other guys, it's just that the comparison falls apart when you get to the details.

@@BabyPlutoSVP it all depends, you can watch my videos of me flying by all kinds of cars on street tires with full interior including the porches :). There's no reason why a small displacement motor, wrong wheel drive, and terribly balanced should even be remotely comparable to a porche... Let alone the cost and age difference. And here we are 30 years later.. 1/4- Honda has a faster world record Road racing- no one has beaten the most winning brand in the manufacturers cup Global Time attack- 3 people run them and 2 are slow. Rally Racing- Poche tends to have more entries which is still very minimal but they got us there. I won't pay for a 1/4 car but hey to each their own.

@@BabyPlutoSVP they blow apart, the transmissions are terrible. They are really only good for spec racing..they literally blow apart when people try to throw on any kind of aftermarket turbo, let alone the transmission. Much much better cars for the money then a porche.

Ppl also seem to forget the fact that if you put that money you put into the Honda into the Porsche the Porsche would gap it…like it’s a tuned Honda vs a Stock Porsche and it still didn’t beat it

@@BabyPlutoSVP I would hope it wouldn't!! The fact that the porche didn't blow by him is insane. I'm assuming he is a very very amature driver. I'm glad he paid all that money to get a car he doesn't know how to drive or have the balls to do so. Sadly it happens all the time. You just can't buy speed at the end of the day.

All through the SCCA. Get a car up to safety standards, complete a Full Competition License school and all it’s requirements, then find a class that your car fits into and you’re racing
