@@doggosgobork525 I did practice it a bit, so I want to, but it is so stressful. Best attempt was 10% and I also have a 19%. All I can say is: be rested, be fully focused for 15 minutes and be careful with overhealing from TALENTS. Lightsmith makes it a bit harder to heal, but it is easier to control your HP and a bit more damage. Herald of the Sun is just easy mode until the boss and then it becomes a nightmare due to how much it heals. Holy Shock can crit you to full, then the party explodes so for self healing, Flash of Light is safer.

Hello. Thank you for your kind words. Arcane might be the toughest to do it with. I recommend using Frost or Fire. They have a lot of instant casts and synergy so you can move around a lot. As for your question, you might have noticed I have 2 silence buttons on my bars. One is my normal one, which I need to put back and the other is an [@focus] macro for the same ability. lt is very useful because you never have to click Zek'vir directly. Happy to help! I am just happy these vids are of use. If you are struggling, remember there are certain overpowered (in my opinion) things one can use to make it easier. It is not my style though, so I try to provide an "honorable" way of completion.

tried it first on my 622 mage.. then I said let me try my BM hunter to tank it... BOOM.. one shot pets..went again on mage and got it xD

@@kirkmagne Can confirm, wiped the floor with him on my 590 fury warrior, 603 BM, pets barely survive on the ? difficulty, not even ??

@@IlIIIllIIllIIl Being challenging is the whole point of Mage Tower. Rewards will always be subjective, but the mount is amazing and the armor sets look damn good.

@@kirkmagne Yea, I saw that, but I got the bear form from Emerald Dream in DF so i'm not too keen on the fel bear. To be honest, bear form is just a defensive for me on balance lol

@@Quaght Thanks! Cannot take credit though, it is an armor set, nothing of my design. First one with the crystal shoulders is Arcanoshatter Regalia from Blackrock Foundry, WoD, mythic difficulty. Unsure if it has variants. The arcaney/purple one is the Mage Tower reward.

They are, but you have to get the achievement for equipping both glaives on one character and then kill Illidan in Timewalking Black Temple. Afterwards (apparently) you can use it for at least the 5 classes that can dual wield them: Monk, warrior, rogue, death knight and demon hunter.

@@MistressOP That's a good strat! I only have the one account and I run things fully. 13x Ulduar per week is certainly something. 15-20 minutes per run just so Mimiron's Head doesn't drop. Yay! The benefit is Mage Tower gear you cannot find in TBC, especially rings and cloaks. Not a TOTAL waste of time, I guess.

@@WolfoxLive I know. I am not using TWW gear or enchants. The 930 str/agi armor kit is op as well. Gives about 130 str/agi inside the Mage Tower.

I tried frost a bit and got massive DPS as well, fire just has low DPS even though the fight was not slow. I just tried the gems you mentioned and one gem gives 1% crit due to not scaling. I do not want to use any exploits/cheese/stuff they did not update. Thanks for the info though, I might use it for an "op build" video. So far it is Gruul's trinket, BfA gems and TWW spellthread. Used to be TWW food as well, but they nerfed that from 463 primary stat to 7.

@@kirkmagne Is it an exploit that they aren't scaling? I figured they were just in the 120 ilvl range and didnt scale by default... The primary stat gems are from Cata, way lower than 120 ilvl gem numbers should be... War within gems scale to approx 24 secondary stats... Love your vids, i just have holy Paladin left for the mount, and as you say "it's pesky!"

It is probably not an exploit as much as it is improper balancing/scaling. My personal definition of "exploit" is a bit draconic. Mage Tower is currently not properly balanced so everything should be used to complete it. As for holy pala, I have some close attempts that I will upload. Too much to write about. Frustrating, long and unfair. Resto shaman felt much easier.

@@teo_d_david It is. Requires no resources to enter, it is always available, but the rewards are now armor transmogs, felbear for guardian druid (I think) and the book mount if you do all 7 challenges.

I checked and I only have Demonbane Armor as a set so I think it is the correct one. Went on wowhead and looks like it is the same one I have.

@simonhouborg3781 No worries. The other set is also called Demonbane and is green. I guess they really wanted to keep the "fel" theme for Demon Hunters.

@@Nagaash Yea TWW gear does not do it for most challenges. I do not remember what patch, but I uploaded the same day I completed this challenge, so 3 weeks ago. Don't think much has changed for Mage Tower from the start of TWW to present day except the food getting nerfed. Check out my vid called Gearing Guide, if you need a mini guide on how to gear.

@@Disslikeinator Mage Tower. Difficult solo challenges that give armor transmog rewards. Already have the reward, but this challenge was done with another class. Doing all the challenge/spec/class combinations.

@@pantersplayer I know. On my main I have 2x SW TP cloaks, garrison HS, garrison shipyard TP and so on. This is my 6th or 7th alt (made in The War Within) so I'm only using HS, Dalaran HS and garrison HS. Thanks for the tip though.

@@MasterDk4ever I think it is because shamans cannot use swords. The transmog was added, but I cannot equip Thunderfury itself. I have the cosplay, but not the superpowers.

@@serendipitygaming6785 Yes, you want the most sockets per item slot to get the most primary stat. TWW gear struggles due to how scaling works at the moment so you want TBC/WotLK gear. Check out my Gearing Guide video for a mini-guide/example. I gem and enchant my monk's gear from scratch and showcase some item information applicable to all classes.

@@kirkmagne I went around TBC / Wotlk and some cata raids picking up all the random stuff i could find and yes i did it :D What i found out was that stacking trinkets are actually quite OP on this fight as it lasts much longer so you have like 40 main stat from trinket alone that was what made this fight quite easy for me as fury warrior when i found good trinkets.

@serendipitygaming6785 Nicely done! I thought trinkets did not do too much (due to scaling) so I just used them for the primary stat. Have to look into getting some of the better ones.

@@kirkmagne for me trinkets were huge. I used the PVP trinket Haste + chance to proc main stat and i used a strength trinket with a damage procc from TWW because i wasnt lucky on trinkets in tbc / wotlk raids.. felt like i had low damage. then i changed to Apparatus from Firelands which i had laying around which ofc is a strength trinket with a stacking secondary stat and some rock trinket from TWW which was crit / main stat 3 up to 10 stacks (30 main stat throughout the fight). and yeah i could really feel the difference.

@@peijrum It is very unbalanced right now. Feral druid was a faceroll, fury was more challenging. The secondary stats do not seem to matter so the trinket you use is mostly irrelevant. Crusader seems like a nice idea though.

@kirkmagne haste matters for fury always since you wanna play with reckless reset. Classes are hugely diffrent I'm fury main for 20 years still toke me a few tries, one shotted as enhancer.

@peijrum It matters, but with the scaling at the moment, you barely get any percent increase and when you do, it is at most 1-2%. It's all about the primary stat, in this case strength, right now. If they will look into it and balance it, maybe that will change. Right now Mage Tower is a bit of a mess.

@@kirkmagne % from dst is about 13% with a 97% uptime. It also procc crusader due to the fast hitting.

@kirkmagne Cause the haste you get inside in normal gear is about 200 and it's 10% dst gives 237 if they haven't changed it

@@kacik213 It is not much different, but I did die a lot. My Brann was level 43 or something. I think they also nerfed it a bit since then.

@besklucas You need to use TBC or WotLK gear. I recommend doing Sunwell Plateau, Black Temple and Ulduar. Pandaria gear just scales to 1 str so even though it has sockets, you lose a bit. TBC instances are also good. Then you can put +6 or +8 gems in, depending on how much gold you want to invest and use lower level enchants, flasks, food and augment runes. I will make a guide once I am done with all specs and classes.

@@austin4990 I always full run everything, but I was not expecting 3 glaives in 2 weeks. Who knows how long it will take for a set though. I am just happy Eye of Sulfuras dropped. Doing only 2 bosses in Molten Core saves so much time. BT only sucks due to Teron not having a skip down.

@@twiz5492 It is not supposed to be easy, but it might be slightly overtuned. ilvl does not matter because it scales to 120 (last I checked). You might need older 2-3 socketed gear to max primary stat and the mechanics cannot be ignored due to one shots.
