Psychedelic warriors from the Sunset Strip inventing punk rock.
GOD BLESS TONY , HUNT AND DAD SOUPY FOREVERMORE - - LOVE FROM YOUR PAL HOLLYWOOD JOE - -
That would have driven me nuts.
I grew up in New York City I would rush home to make sure I caught his show. Then after that there were children's entertainers like Sandy Becker, Uncle Fred scott, officer Joel Bolton with the Three Stooges Sonny Fox Etc By the way for those of you who think you're styling look at their jackets and their pants just like what's in style today the ripped pants was in style back in the seventies and the pants will call Hip Huggers😅😅😅
I had one of those. Also a tiger that went on the handle bars, you squeezed it's tale
Because what parent doesn’t want to listen to this all day long and have to buy a zillion Evereadys to power it? Probably one of the more cancerous toy ideas. On a plus note it probably still sounds better than some kids trash JBL Bluetooth speaker blasting garbage autotuned rap going down the street.
I asked for one of these and instead got a minibike my Dad made with a Whizzer fuel tank, an 8.1 c.i. chainsaw engine and liteweight frame.
It was the best of times to grow up! My dad had a Western Auto store great bikes car parts and everything for you home!
William Conrad (Cannon P.I.) narrator.
I remember seeing this as a kid in the 70s
I'm nearly embarrassed for the Seeds but great song and record ... and band .
Balloons for us, this was out of my league $.
Sky Saxon had such a "boyish charm" about him! He was almost 30, but he was like the kid who never grew out of his ADHD. Like the David Lee Roth of the 60s
Its like American graffiti ❤
I turned on the radio...remember that, every song that came out...I was in love

Airdate April 28th, 1968, 1:35 "We'd like to do a number we plan to record". Actually recorded Sept 14th, 1965, reaching the top 40 Feb. 1967.
They went on to do pretty well in the music business to be fair . But Tony and the Tigers weren't the best teenage group of all time but they had a go . Individually they did ok later on in life ,Tin machine 😊
Ah...the childhood memories ! Love it.
Sounds like my leaf blower!
Great band never heard of them or the show . We miss out on a lot of good music in Australia 🦘🦘🦘 13)3/2024😮
What TV show was this? I could be wrong but I think they were on a Munsters episode too.
👉 I recently moved and found a pair of Rick's drumsticks that I'd packed with my needlework supplies because they were the same length as my knitting needles... 😂
👉 "Ya kno, for puttin' up the bread" - - can you imagine financing a startup for $500 - - pffft, not even then !!!
That’s when music was great.seeing people dancing and having a groovy time.bands play thair own instrument’s.not like to today’s music.🥁🎤🎸🎹
there was music that people could actually dance to! Real audience participation---not everybody with their cell phones trying to film the band, or trying to talk to their neighbors over the loud music. People showed their appreciation by dancing!
Which superhero is the singer supposed to be?
Gas tank wouldn't work on a stick-shift stingray.
From big bands then Eisenhower, I get how all the crap in the 60’s blew their minds.
Great song greatly diminished by this cheesy TV show.
This song was released in Russia with the translation "Pushkin Too Hard"
I remember buying the 45. I may still have it 👍🏻
I've heard this lyrck but never knew who it was,,, yep. Good,,,,goooood
Deborah Walley.😍.red head..cutting a rug to the groovy sounds of The Seeds!!
FAMILY REALLY SQUARE SHOW WAS NOT ON TV VERY LONG
Maybe the Family was considered ' square ' back in the mid-60s but today this same family would be considered the hippest of the hip ' . Upper middle class is very 'In ' right now '
Waiting for someone to break out a Doobie.
Voted THE best garage band ever, Music Magazine
this is what I call Hollywood hippies; no one really looked like that…the coolest thing is the guitarist is playing a Fender Jaguar
Tripping balls
I thought it was Lenny & Squigy
