@@KEITHGEE1000 Hello Keith. Yes, I see it too although it’s not very prominent for me. I get this in other sceneries and I’ve always thought it was my graphics card and how it deals with these things. I have yet to fly in here. Maybe today.

Not entirely sure but I don’t think it’s a scenery issue but rather a bug with DirectX12. So if you’re on that try switching to DirectX11 to see if it’s fixed. Happens at a lot of sceneries.

@@Maplelf Hi. Yes it does. And I already use DirectX 11. However, updates to MSFS have been notorious for making changes without letting the user know, so I need to double check my settings. Thanks for chiming in. Lee

@@Maplelf, It's an imaging artefact called moire and you'll see it on anything designed a specific way. Blast screens and corrugated structures exhibit it commonly (basically, anything with an intricate, repetitive pattern) due to their composition within the sim. Changing DX versions can help - it's just how your GPU interprets then renders certain objects.

@@Maplelf Good suggestion. I tried it as I use TAA but sadly I noticed a very slight improvement only. I only get such flickering with maybe 2 other sceneries. It’s not the end of the world but slightly spoils the experience for me.

@@TheVirtualAirlinePilot, I'm loving the scenery. I can't understand all the criticism, unless the hype was such that people went overboard and met with an anti-climax. I'm not sure what they expected but it's far better than the initial reviews suggest. The ground markings aren't quite up to the standards of previous Jo Erlend Sund airports but everything else is up to par, given the size of the place. The funny thing is, had Flightbeam or FlyTampa released the airport identically, people would have been raving about it...

@@karlnixon5037 I agree Karl. It's better than I expected although for me it does hit the frame a bit. But I have yet to fly in there. I'm off to Manchester tomorrow (Saturday) to meet with some FLYUK pilots at the airport (20th Anniversary). Been a pilot with them for years. Then Sunday, it's getting my son back to University. Busy weekend!

Hi. I would not recommend it as you'd lose the link to the scenery and have to link it possibly using something like Addon-Linker or similar. My usual advice is to first clean up your C:drive and then the drive upon which the scenery is located. This can be done using a utility such as CCLEANER (find it on the net). This will remove any temp files or other such clag dragging your PC down. then, use the Windows DeFrag tool (If you use an SSD, this will "trim" the drive but if your drives are SATA then the tool will defragment and improve the read/write. I find most products benefit from a nicely running drive. Hope it helps.

@@Ashleigh_T yes your are correct. Not sure if FSDG will update it. They have updated many products in the past. Might be worth dropping them an email to let them know about the changes and ask if this is in their update plans. But thank you for watching

@@TheVirtualAirlinePilot do you have to uninstall su17 for the airport to work ? As I cannot see a way to remove asobo Cardiff airport without removing su17 ?

@@MYNYDD-MOTO You need to click the THREE DOTS to the right side of the WU17 scenery list. This brings up al the parts of WU17 and if you scroll down you'll see the default Cardiff - just delete it

Hello and thank you for watching and commenting. There are things you can do to help the frame rate. Two things I'd recommend right off the bat - get hold of a utility called CCLEANER, install it and use it to clean up the drive of temporary files. Next, defragment the drive that MSFS is on. If the drive is an SSD, then the Windows Defrag tool will "trim" the drive. This should help. One other trick is to open MSFS, load the scenery, then close MSFS down and then re-run it. Hope it helps. Lee

@@B3burner I actually did open the weather window and slide the time button - but you don't see it because I edit it out and allow the time to just "slide" using the editing software. 🙂 It creates a nice effect as the light changes.

As you can see from the video, it's pretty smooth, but I get the occasional stutter too. But nothing to write home about. try this - run MSFS and load the scenery. Then shutdown MSFS, defrag the drive upon which MSFS is located then run the Simulator again, same scenario. See if there is any improvement. Lee

I think it's certainly the best NAHA Airport out there and Pyreegue Dev Co set their prices incredibly competitive so they are hard to match! Across some 500 video reviews, I see this kind of price pretty common for this kind of product and I look closely at the amount of work done, to see if the product merits the price is. if you like the scenery, I'm sure it will come out in a SALE at some point - which might be more attractive to you. Thanks Victor. I actually like PMDG and now Fenix. They both produce quality Jets. To be honest, Asobo have thrown PMDG so many curve balls each time they update something - which has caused PMDG to go back and fix a potential conflict. But Fenix has managed to confound so many - including me! - and it's great news for the Simming Community. Take care mate

Like you I am not a fan of the GA glass cockpits so mine is set up with 3 changeable faceplates for Cessna 172 steam gauge, Bonanza G36 steam gauge and Baron G58 steam gauge - much more fun and I love old style VOR navigation not a fan of GPS

I didn't film that landing. I filmed the departure from Dubai. But perhaps I'll film a landing into Mumbai sometime soon, now that the A319 is out.

Hello Karl, thanks for watching and commenting. I didn't go al the way with the train, just enough to show it. Really hope they light it up at night. I don't use AI Traffic so I would not know about the Runway issue. I fly almost exclusively on VATSIM, unless I'm testing - and I'll be flying the PMDG 777 on Saturday on a long haul. It's been a while! Thanks for the details about the 2D-windows. They do look great. Yes, night time could be better. But they have taken on a big place here and obviously decided to go only so far.
