Yesterday, I heard of Noel for the first time, on an ancient TV program from the 1970’s here on TH-cam. Only hours later, I am recommended “curse of Noel Edmonds.” The internet really takes the sewer pipe path too far: right up the rectum.

All these idiots slagging noel off because there bitter because he was a massive house hold name. Noel came up with a format that was brilliant. And lets not forget that ant and dec basically did house party with a new name and tweaked format. House party will always survive in sorm form

One of my absolute *FAVOURITE* Top Gear moments! The reason *_I_* find it fascinating, is because James _could_ actually have meant it purely platonically. If so, it was really nice! ☺️ That would've made _Hammond's_ reaction 😡 *mean-spirited,* 😡 and spoiled the friendly atmosphere. How DARE you Hammond! Also, that food looked AMAZING - the fish (was it trout? Or mackerel??) The fresh vegetables, the jelly - really, really good.

What an utterly horrendous tv programme, and I hope those involved are sued. There isn’t any controversy about Noel, he is and was wholesome - and his career comeback on channel 4 was a pleasure to see. He brought warmth and kindness to our screens and he is greatly missed. Corny? Hammy? Cringe-worthy jumpers? Bring it all back I say. Nasty, stinking modern society we live in now… And I write this as a 30-something second-generation immigrant gay man.

I agree with legacy of pop. What a nasty, cheap, snide programme. Noel Edmonds was a quite brilliant broadcaster. Yes he could be a bit corny but what his critics tend to ignore is his enormous popularity. On Radio One in the 70s he was hugely original and very funny. He was like a more acceptable version of the great genius of radio Kenny Everett. But it was on TV he found his real forte. Live TV was and is very hard to do. But he was quite brilliant at it. The House Party was all done with just cue cards and no autocues. He had no earpiece. But he ran that show for nearly an hour every week and up to 16 million watched it. Bill Cotton, the head of BBCTV told him his was the most important show on TV.

I find it funny how Noel's House Party was cancelled because viewers fell to 8 million, whereas now the BBC would kill to have that many viewers for their shows. Hell even Doctor Who has now fallen to 3 million.

When I was a kid, I was amazed that Noel Edmonds could turn his hand to making soulful pop videos. Then someone announced "George Michael there, with his latest hit, A Different Corner."

Noel always came a cross as the bloke next door. Down to earth and personable. We grew up with Noel on the box and on radio. Nothing wrong with that

This TV show went out in 2004. It's a cheap shitty little production. Noel didn't deserve this.

I can honestly say I never watched 'Noels House Party' after unfortunately witnessing 30 seconds of the early episodes. After TOTP and Swop Shop I realized he's a massive bellend. Tell that to the poor bugger who died while taking part in one of his pranks that Noel ran away from at great speed.
