When I started this channel I enjoyed 20 tanks in my 10X10 fish room with over 13 species. Providing aquatic scenes, knowledge, and my personal experience with these fish types; offering guides & tips based on the experiences. Since then I broke down the fish room thinking a new job had me done in the hobby. It was through the process of breaking down my fish room that I realized I could not, and would not be done in the hobby or creating content to my channel. I love both way too much, and it sucks I don't have more hours in every day. Ultimately I'm NOT an all or nothing guy! So I'm finding other ways to enjoy the hobby. 210 √ in Fry in the Fish Room!
Seeing some success in the Angel Fish Breeding project, and a surprise spawn in the new polar blue tank I scaped for a pair of polar blues that were in a glass bottom bare bones tank. Pretty telling how when you set up the right conditions, fish will breed for you.

Yes, those lids are heavy. Curious if the electrical tape does the trick for you and holds up over time.

Thanks, Anthony! A 55 gallon is a fantastic size tank for a community tank! I used to keep tanks on cinder block stands. They work fantastic and the price is right. I quit cuz the ground shakes too much around here, and always at the worst possible times. 🙂Nicely done! ~Ron
Ron. Thank you and I appreciate the comment. Unless I get swallowed up by some weird sink hole event I think I am ok here. This part of Texas I cant even dig more than 2 inches into the ground before I hit limestone lol! (No embellishment there.) Your totally right with the price is right. Much more reasonable than the price of a stand. A little black spray paint goes a long way for some decor too :)
@@2tenaquatics The exact opposit here. If the ground shake hard enough things can turn to soup. 🙂 Not something to worry about cuz life must go on. I do like Texas. My daughter and grand daughters gust mived from Garland to Rowlett. We got to spend this past Christmas with them in Garland. Had a ball!

Never fun when a tank explodes
Man tell me about it. I totally understand how that experience can drive someone to quitting the hobby. We don't want any size tank to fail us, but they can. One learns a lot about themselves through the experience. Recovering is honest test of one's fish keeping passion my friend :) I feel it with a busted tank or an accidental water changing over flood lol!
I would replicate the plant wall on the side you want to use the privacy lattice
Right on. I am still trying to figure it all out. I moved everything already. That wall is two pallets I screwed/fastened together by sliding two 6 or 8 feet 2x4s that I slid in between them, then painted it. It's heavy as a mother now lol! Update coming soon. Cant wait to show it all.

Indeed lol! Been preoccupied getting ready to start a new job. Initially retired with United Airlines. Covid era produced a retirement package I could not pass up. Spent the last 3 years enjoying semi retired life, but its time to get back into the grind. When I first saw your channel , it was an early video where you were explaining why you realized you were going all into the hobby, and how you were setting yourself up to make sure you stayed active the day you do retire. I couldn't agree more! Find something you love! That's when I subbed up to your channel brother! Same vibes same truth!

Panda Garras. Yeah remember I sent you a pic of those way back when. That was the fish My Friend Melanie ended up getting and I purchased a few of them once I saw them in person. The pic did not do them justice. Good to know the video shows them off well. I will get to trying to breed them soon. I'll keep you posted. They are a loach btw.
