The classic Kreelex. A fly that fools just about all fish
มุมมอง 1.7K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
Fly of the Week The Kreelex Minnow was created by Chuck Craft in 1996. It's deadly pattern for trout, bass, redfish and more. The story behind the Kreelex is funny. Chuck had a dream about the pattern, wakes up, buck named and ties 3 of them before going back to bed. Chuck took the new flies to South America and proceeded to burn through the flies due to vicious takes by the trout. Before the K...

Realistic pattern. Very well demonstrated and explained. Thank you.
zu stark gebunden, mußt noch lernen gefühlvoller zu binden ,zu grobe proportionen
Absolutely beautiful work sir
Why can't anyone figure out a way to have the net mounted with the handle pointed up so you can reach back and pull I'd down and out instead of having a dripping wet net on your back all day. If they're handle up the net portion is below your waders and you stay dry
I want to catch redfish, speckled trout, stripers and hopefully flounder with a flyrod in the Chesapeake Bay. I think an 8 weight would do the job. I don't have a lot of money to get started. Any recommendations? I can spend maybe $200. If that's not enough I probably can't do it. I use spinning rods about 98% of the time, and I fish often. I know I love to catch fish. We have a lot of marshes and bays with redfish and the others that should be perfect for a flyrod. Maybe down the road I can get something more expensive but I have to see if I like using the fly enough first. My spinning rigs all cost around $200-250. I hope I can start with a fly setup for the same money.
Nicely done!
Thanks man, tip out of the bag first...😉
Nice easy and make many colors
I love them!
Excellent product.
700 euro`s overhere in Europe (Holland). Bit to steep for me, looking for something similar in the 500 euro range. Any thoughts? Thnx. Subscribed.
Nice rod!
What tool are you using on the dubbing loop?
Bad Reviews
Nicely done! 👍🏻👍🏻
Sweet let's go hit the Letort
Sounds like a plan!
well done nice pattern
Thank you!
Thank you for your very positive Thomas and Thomas Zone fly rod review. Made a believer out of me! I live in southwest Florida and will be taking it with me to New Hampshire in August for some trout fishing in the mountains.
'promosm' 😑
This fly pattrrn worked well for me. Floated nicely and got some nice browns.
That main image, which reappears at 0:40, looks wrong. Isn't the line supposed to be threaded so it's coming out of the reel, and up to the guide, from the next section down (away from the rod)? As it is there, it looks like the line will be constantly rubbing against the reel cage.
Can’t wait to tie this for some Smallie!!
I agree. A very nice fly for. Looking forward to tying a few and going to one of the local Blue Ribbon trout streams.
Get your proportions right
Very nicely put sir, I can tell you a true Sportsman and not just a salesman because you also gave me good advice to stick with in my budget. I am thinking about getting into flyfishing because yesterday at Ponagansett fishing area in Gloucester, Rhode Island, I was using power bait on one hook, and a Cast master on the other, when three people beside me were fly fishing with flys caught there limit of 5 in an hour, I got 4 in about 6 hours Thank you for your video 😊
Thanks can’t wait to try this one out
Really nice fly, I like it. If I wanted to add thorax to this fly what color dubbing would you use?
Looks great! Going to add them to my box this spring when the sulphurs start coming out
Are you the lankaster or Mount Holly?
Very Helpful ! Thankyou
Simple, but effective. Thanks
Nice tie .....will give it a go ......Thanks 👍🏻🌊
Where is it?
Nice tie, but maybe next time when tying a dark pattern use a light background. Black against dark blue made the fly difficult to see.
Great tie - is it good to use in clear water conditions or mostly murky water ?
You can use it in any water conditions
Nice pattern
Exceptional pattern 🎉 Thank You 🌟🎣💫
Great pattern. I'll be adding that to my winter offerings.
Awesome!!!
A+ rating
Is this Son Tao tying ?
Yes it is
Gidday. Great tutorial. Thankyou.
You’re welcome!
Nice done I will tie few of them up thank you
Hope you enjoy it and hook a lot of fish
T-6 spool fits into G.E.N. 3.7 not T-7.
This looks like a great Fisherman vest to bring on a budget airline, in order avoid paying for baggage 🛄 fees!
I love the simplicity of this fly. It's a Silver Salmon and Steelhead magnet in the PNW area of the US.
Gidday Howie. Fantastic tutorial. Thankyou.
Me: *Has never gone fishing, probably never will* Also me: ooooo fishing thingsss
That’s a cool variation on the crazy Charlie! Thanks for the tutorial!
Glad you like it!
Nicely done with clear instructions. Good colors too.
